All,

I was recently contacted by a US Army chief warrant officer currently stationed at camp Leatherneck Afganistan. His battalion is about 600-700 personnel and they support the Marines, Navy and Air Force and frequently have 8,000 -10,000 people at camp. They have 3 pool tables and the chief puts on tournaments to help boost morale. He usually buys things out of pocket but he can't afford them now.

I plan on sending 2-4 cues, some tips and a couple boxes of chalk. Mr. Cherry said that he would happily take pictures so that we can all see how they're using the new gear.

I just thought id see if anyone else wants to donate anything. If you want you can send items directly to them, send them to me and I can package them up, or donate a couple bucks and I'll purchase more items with my wholesale discounts.

Let me know if interested.

Had a few PM's and a couple donations.

Anyone else? This will be the last bump. These folks deserve it!

The items (Over 1.5K worth of retail items) were donated and sent to the MSGT. He said he received them and that they were very grateful and everything was having an amazing time.

I asked him to take some pictures but haven't seen any yet, hopefully soon.

Once I get the pictures I'll post them as well as everyone who donated.

Very awesome that you put this together - Speaking for everyone, we all look forward to seeing those pictures of the men and women in uniform enjoying themselves over a pool table.

Preston, it may be helpful if you post the address that items can be sent to, I suspect that it may help support this good cause.

Take Care
