Richie,

He put me in the losers bracket at 5am Sunday.. I blew my chance to beat him but it makes me feel better. He is a fantastic player and very nice fellow..

He beat me at the DCC too this year. He has a very strong game for sure. Congrats to Chuck.

Anyone know who won the bank event?

Did Louis win the bank, he played a great match against me to make to tthe finals of winners side.

Sorry

WHat are we talking about? Isn't this the 1 day event @ Green Room?

Satman, We are messed up enough already!

I was at Michaels, for the GSBT, and Chuck Raulston was there.... Must have been Chucky Raulston. Been a long weekend, and my sincerest apologies, for making this place more confusing than it already is. LOL....

Then you must be correct...I guess I am wrong for ASSSuming that the OP was speaking of a MD event. 1 day, 64 players...when i saw 5.15am, shiaat! I ASSumed it was MD:o

LOL...I was right Richie!

I knew that we were watching the FINALS match when Richeson and Chuck played for the first time on the Winner's side. LOL! I nearly got the first score right during their first match as well... I may not match up myself too well but I can call it regarding other players.

Anyway...I am glad to see that Chuck won. He is definitely a class act and a good shot. Had I had more cash on my this weekend, I would have gotten him in the Calcutta. He only went for $80. That is nuts!!!

The tournament was crazy though. 102 players on 7 barboxes racing to anywhere from 7 to 10 games a piece...that is why it lasted until the am this morning!!!!!

I am still asleep

I think I must be sleep walking,,,, and typing. And not reading too well. It WAS at Michaels. When I was talking to Richie, he had played 5 matches in the 9 ball. His total was 50 to 8. 5 sets he went to 10, and the total games he lost was 8. That's pretty strong on the bar boxes.

Congrats to Chuck too.

YEA the tournament you are talking about is 3 miles from my house and i have no idea whats happening there, thats at green room in baltimore.

Brandon Williams def Louis Demarco to take the hot seat. Then Demarco faced Rothrock and it came down to the last ball with Demarco coming out on top.

The finals went 2 sets, Demarco won the first and then the kid put it on him to win the event.

We just woke up. The full story will be up later on AzBilliards and Inside Pool.

Have a nice day!

That is a super strong win for Brandon.. I've faced him in the local Airway tourney and he is a very good player. I had no idea he played that strong.. Pretty impressive!

Thanks for the update Marge & the hard work you and Shannon did in running the tournament.. You guys worked your butts off!

Chuck is one of the better players in the St Louis area. I'm kind of surprised they let him in an amateur event but glad he took it down.

you was almost right!

I ll tell you patrick you had me sweating,i was getting ready to ask u for ur mailing address,i was ready to ship dinner money,i enjoyed last night thanks for the fun!

i was there i honestly think gsbt should let pros .... such as shannon murphey in these tourneys make them go to thirteen and lower every1s handicap when they play the top name pros................. i was there as soon as i heard chucks name i knew he was gonna win................. chuck was prolly the smartest guy out there going to his car and taking naps..... this tourney was the definition of grinding it out.............. i played my 1st match at midnight..... 2nd at 7 in the morning...... then i had play again at 2..... and unfortunatly it was against alex olinger......... i tried telling shannon that he left a few hours ago but he was really asleep in the back... ( ahhaha) he gave me chances but i couldnt do much with em

Chuck R has many great tournements to come!!!

Chuck has been in the wings waiting---- very glad to see him place and cash!!!!!!! mark

Chucky

He is from the Poplar bluff / cape girardeau area. He wins almost every amatuer tournament in the Missouri area not just St. Louis. When I owned the pool hall in cape he won our $5000 added tourney as a 13 with a half a dozen pro players in it. He won the mo state 8 ball tourney as well this year. He plays great on a bar box. He did real well at the derby city in banks I believe made it to the 8th round.
