Mine was ok for awhile then the bearing gave out. Called Lee who said he would simply send another one out immediately.
I thought that was really nice and my opinion of him changed.
Then I waited....and waited....
Guess he is retired now and I will never get it....

However, my post was to relate another bad experience with Lee. I really don't think these centers would be a hassle to make...I really don't.
However, I purchased them from a "supplier"...... I expect "some" support from a "supplier".
Lee promised to replace this center....period.......never did.....period...
He was kind enough to tell a customer who had barely used one...."glad you like it"
He was also crass enough to tell me he would replace the on that failed....ASAP.....Then I never heard from him....
I guess he is semi retired..... I also that means you are........Shi@ out of luck if you need any support......

true and pure character. Way to go lee. Instead of helping a guy to have your defective product fixed, it is easier for you just to lay back on your lazy s, read the threads on az and leave randy sol. If you would have sent the replacement and apologize for the delay would have made a huge difference. I bought mine from prather, at least i get 5 star customer service and no hassle

i admire you for being big enough to admit you simply want me to screw myself lee. Did you lie about your intention to replace the defective center or was it your realization of who i am that did it? It is obvious by your attitude you are affirming our conversation on the phone.
I realize that at times i can be rude, but i believe i always apologize when i am.
I doubt anyone knows the reason for tension between us, but i remember it started a long time ago with me trying to help you.
You would constantly advertise parts without time frames(or delays would ensue....sometimes indefinitely) or missing pertinent info(hey i have some nickel/silver rings: No id, no od, no thickness). I would see these and advise you to be more complete with you postings. I would also bump them and ask(again) when the item might be available(wow, i am a jerk). I can also remember how you said this or that was better than the competition, but were pretty vague when asked in what way. I think one thing you mentioned was precision(this term has been given alot of latitude in the last ten years).
I also tried to advise you when the golf cart hit your trailer.
I know you think calling me and tony 'wannabees' is derogatory, but i find it ironic because it fits. We both "want to be the best we can be". This is a journey that should never end.
I heard a rumor that you are semi-retired and i wish you the best.
all i am saying is its the same few that want to always start trouble and yes i call them want to b's i have sold hundreds of these centers with no issues this doesnt mean i have to carry replacement bearing forever that fact these where engineered to be replaceble is a big plus when talking with porper he told he doest want his custmors to fix them he wants to sell another all i offered is a better part with better ideas to help the customer and yes there are several on here that all they do is complain and well they just have to much time on there hands as for retired all i will say is this year i have had health issues which i have no reson for explaining to anyone my personal life and family is just that personal i missed the us open the derby and hopkins this year for the first time in over 12 years i will still continue to make a few parts and tools in the furture health permitting it will be on a much smaller scale my original plan was to start building some cues each week and some cue parts to sell to others and then bow out of everything else i am envoled in and just do that who knows sometimes life throws you curve balls all you can do is try and go on this will be my last discussion on this matter the 2 bearings listed will both work with my centers if anyone needs to replace them, or you can order from porper a disposeable one.
