Heard it through grapevine: Ronnie Allen vs. Carl Bailey Action

I heard it through the grapevine that Ronnie Allen is going to play Carl Bailey for a medium chunk today. Game supposed to go at 2:30 Vegas time.

Seems like it will be a good match. Carl Bailey is giving Ronnie Allen 9 to 7. I'm not sure what kind of set they're going to play, but I think they agreed to play six hours one day and six hours the next.

Looks like all this action in recent times has Ronnie dusting off his cue and coming out of the woodwork. Welcome to the field of green, Ronnie. Better than sitting on the rail like me.

i have played ronnie 6 times in the last year. 2 of the times he had a flashback and played great, another 2 times he played how i expected him to play and the last two times he played terrible. this could go either way

Anybody know the location.

This is a question for 2 reasons.
1) I might want to sweat for a minute
2) A few years ago I ended up with a couple of RA old sticks and want to get them back to him. I think he needs them more than me.

I hate to own somebody's stick's or car titles.
What am I supposed to do with them.

I just returned another 'package' of a 4 x 8 George leather and 3 cues and gobs of shafts to an old buddy that had some hard times. Gave them back to him.

Saw The RA stuff and said - what am I gonna do with these? He probably needs them more than I do.

I like Ronnie. I don't like loaning players money.

So - I probably won't do that anymore.

Mark, I'm not sure where the match took place in Vegas, but I did hear last night that after three hours, R.A. did, indeed, win.

My understanding is they were negotiating for another game, but I don't know if it ever materialized.

When Keith gets up, I will get Ronnie's cell phone and send it to you. That is very kind of you to want to give Ronnie back his sticks that he probably gave to hold for him in exchange for a favor.

You are, indeed, a kind, generous man who understands the pool culture all too well. The pool world is lucky to have you as a member of its upper echelon.

Got a laugh out of holding a "package" for Ronnie. Jerry had two complete golf bags and clubs at his house. Both sets were RA's. We knew he had more because both sets were missing the putters! Done as only RA could do it!
