There are only so many ways to bake a cake.....
There is a little known book by Kranicki called ‘Answers to a Pool Players Prayers’, that deals with eye dominance and aiming.
It is an in depth look at perception and what happens while you looking at the balls, tone of excellent stuff. So, anyone wanting to know more on the subject should take a look.
Sort of Perfect Aim on steroids that can be easily followed.
To someone that didn't quite understand the whole concept of what I teach it might appear that this is the same info. But I assure you it is not.
We can bake a cake and all the cakes might look like the same but they are not. Just one ingredient can make a huge difference. Just because Perfect Aim might look the same at first does not mean it is.
The meat of Perfect Aim stands on it's own and helped far more players than any book could have.
The book is good in regards to letting players know that there is a problem and help them understand visually. But it doesn't help them overcome the visual optical illusions that we encounter whan we are aiming different pool shots.
Some of the stuff in the book is good where the eyes should be and some of it is pretty much confusing. Showing where the eyes should or could be does not fix the problem.
It seems like in the book that he is covering too many bases and some of the bases are borderline maybes. Some are way off.
There are some thoeries in there that I don't agree with. But like I said he is truing to cover all the bases.
Each individual player only needs to cover his or her base. Find out why they don't see the shot right. Perfect aim accomplishes this over and over in the many lessons that I give.
I bought the book after there were comparisons to Perfect Aim.
Nobody could figure out what I teach and learn it completely from that book. It just isn't there.
I'm by no means bashing the book just stating what I see when I read it from cover to cover.
Nobody coukld ever learn what i teach fron that book. Not a bold statement. Just the truth.
If someday I could show my Perfect Aim to Kranicki it would settle this controversy.
I am confident that he would clear this up in a heartbeat.
In fact Kranicki would probably get a kick out of someone trying to give him credit for what I teach with Perfect Aim. He would understand the difference for sure..........
Maybe that can happen. But it really doesn't matter.
What matters is the amount of players I can reach and teach Perfect aim and improve the game that they love.
To me there is no controversy. it is what it is...............
