Registration is open for the first stop of the Seminole Pro Tour as well as the California One Pocket Challenge That is being held at the California Billiard Club. Spots are filling quickly, so please get your entries in.

First stop is April 29-may 1 and the one pocket is April 27th-29th.

Explanation of round robin format please...

On your article on AZ it states pertaining to round robin format:

"Some of the benefits are that players will play, guaranteed, for two full days and a minimum of 40 matches (4 rounds)."

I also read on here that a match consists of 10 games total. That would mean that 40 matches at 10 games each would be each player playing 400 games over first 2 days before anyone is eliminated.

So question is: Does the above statement supposed to read "a minimum of 40 games (4 matches)", as 400 games per player seems like a lot.

Just trying to clarify as I'm not familiar with round robin format and maybe it's the meaning of match or round is different when playing round robin format.
 
Thanks for posting this - too bad there's no Southern California stop this year. I'll try to make it up there for the Mountain View tourney.

I agree. Was there ever any discussions with Hard Times about doing it this year? In any event, the CBC is a great room and always holds fine events. This one should be no different.

Wish I could play the 10-ball event...but my friend is getting married that weekend :(

(I'm happy for my friend of course...but this is going to be a great tournament and I hate that I have to miss it)
