Stream-tards from Streaming Pool Chat forums

This is the official rant thread.

What is up with some of these people that seem to be on every stream? You know who I'm talking about; it's the guy/gal that EVERYONE seems to say "OMG, not this guy again". You know, Stream-tards.

I like to drop in on streams, on weekends, while eating lunch or maybe if I have nothing going on, on a Sat. night (yea, yea, I know...:o ). Never fail, there seems to always be the usual suspects.

Here's my stream-tard from this weekend; sc5thom.

What is up with this kid? I say "kid" because based on the unwanted PM's he sends me and the subsequent conversations, I think he is a teenager, using the anonymity of teh Interwebs to take on a persona. sc5thom sent me some eloquent retorts from asking him to stop PM'ing me with stuff like "hey, why dont you go F@#k yourself. And, use a rubber so you don't get any VD from yourself". Some other winners were "You called me 'Junior'? dude, I will rip you a new assh@le".

Long story short, everyone here (I hope) knows that sc5thom is bad action. He has airbarreled several people and has been banned under numerous usernames i.e. sc5thom, Interceptor, 8ball", etc. He mostly hangs in the Action Room, here.

So, who is your stream-tard du jour?

I suppose by definition, everyone that signs in is a stream-tard. At first I was like "wow, this is awesome, hey Justin, tell dogginda9 RR from denver said good luck". Then I was like "wow, is that really Chris Bartram and Dippy and Donnie Mills?". Then I was like "does anyone see alex making table six at HT look like a barbox?". Now I'm like "this is stream-tarded".

Thanks for the wonderful addition to the pool lexicon. :thumbup:

I also frequent streams when i have the time to do so. But it surely does become bothersome when you want to enjoy a stream and "normal" people and to chat with them. Then like the OP says, you have some fools who go on rants about nonsensical or non related subjects and totally take away from the experience. Albeit you will find the same kind of actions/mannerisms at any social event/site/gathering etc. It sure is annoying. wish there was a perma mute button for specific users :)
 
If they are PMing you nasty stuff you have a legitimate beef. But it is pool unrelated and probably belongs in the NPR section.
 
Marty Hermann and SC5thom are top level buttfaces. It would be nice if they had to fade each other in a chat room all by themselves.

I mean, how many times can the world listen to this guy go off about his greatness and tell him that he's smoking crack?

How many times can i get PMs telling me that he's going to shoot me in the face or that he's going to stick me in a hole.

It gets old.
There is no amount of medication that can fix that guy.

Full screen with no log in is the way to go.

That way, you just avoid everything and watch pool.

I'm with ya on this Eric. Apparently sc5 thinks i've never been called "fat" in my 30 years of living, lol. I sit back and laugh when he goes on a little rant because all I can picture is some 15 or 16 year old kid banging away on his computer hoping his mom never looks through his cookies bin. For being an MBA worth more than everyone here combined and a prominent member of the business community, he's on every single stream there is and never working, lol. sc5thom most definitely gets my vote as well.
 
i don't understand why he doesn't (sc5) create a new screen name for the chat. he goes thru screen names here on AZ every week:confused:
