My goal is to teach kids their ABC's and 123's by using a pool table to show the letters and numbers via a overhead view. I shoot a trick that looks like the letters and the graphic tracer follows the balls trails to make the letters.
The target audience on Sesame Street is young I believe the kids are from 2-6 years in age.
The money needed is for Alvin to film, and Dustin to segment produce. Basically overhead to get everyone to one location, and their time doing the video mess. I trust these two guy's. Their experience in our industry makes them the right two for the job.
Yes, I agree Sesame Street is the "big time" but this video is from pool, lets keep it in house (Alvin & Dustin are big time too!). Plus studio time for this project would be a very costly endeavor, hardly worth it to anyone at that point. Moving tables setting them up...etc I plan to make the video on a pool hall table using a makeshift studio at night when its closed...
They buy and/or produce a multitude of products that teach children for the good of the community. The video is going to be sold to them through a company they work with...that is how they like it.
The trick shots could hold the interest of children quite well. They certainly hold our interest.

Post's here that may or not have been made by me is what I think you are talking about. I have used over 12 different publishing firms over the years. Many have taken the Mr. Masse character in strange directions, but none the less you must have followed me, so my money was not wasted. I am sorry if some of the college interns made you upset. I told them all to do whatever they thought would get me notoriety and/or publicity at different points.

Maybe I am just crazy for thinking that having this sort of a business associated with my name could come and haunt me down the road when I decide to start marketing myself to SS.
If I was really serious about SS, I would remove the videos from youtube and metacafe, and get away from the website. But that is just me.

kids get pretty wrapped up in SS. They are at the right age for learning and
being programmed/deprogrammed. Wouldn't it be great if pool was programmed at an early age.
And, are you going to dress up like the Count and do the Count laugh after every

Very cool idea...I don't think I can pull that trick off.
Can you set up a shot so that after you strike the cue ball, the path of the cue ball pockets a ball and then
the cue continues on to pocket another ball and then another and another and ...,

I was thinking something with a spinning cue and a red dot, nothing to flashy just simple and related to Mr. Masse.
Maybe after the cueball is done spinning something unravels around it like object balls, or something where the cueball is spinning so fast that it explodes. Or it is spinning so fast that when it stops it drips into a puddle of water like a teardrop. Or spinning so fast it develops a gravitational pull.

Please do not take this as a negative because I love the idea, but...
I read your post that explains that you must make the video first and then sell it, is that a correct interpretation? If so, then you do not have a contract w/SS yet, right? But if you do sell it, as I'm guessing you will because it's a cool idea, then you will make a profit from it, right? If my assumptions are correct, why are you asking for donations as opposed to looking for investors?
If my assumptions are wrong and you have a deal w/SS already, wouldn't they front you the money needed? And, if you have a deal w/SS already but need a bridge loan to cover expenses before you get paid, shouldn't you just be asking for help w/guaranties the investors would get their money back?
Just asking.
I think it's a great idea and I hope that it works out, it would not only be great for you, but for pool as well. I would love to see it happen, just want to clarify and understand what you're asking for a little bit better.

Everyone has to learn at some point in their life.
If your comfy working at a computer I can just provide the software link so you can develop the animation, there are tons of youtube instructional videos demonstrating how to create logos and short animations.
This is the site of the "opensource" meaning free software, there are no conditions or tricks to downloading and installing it.

Yes, I have thought it over and I can make that happen sir... No problem I need to line the inside of a table with cloth, and then shoot a pretty sweet masse shot the spin will grab under the table and the ball will go and jump a ramp back up on the table with ease.
Nice video! Easy trick shot in the end a 5 in scale of 1-10. The hardest part would be stretching the cloth...
