But are the USBA or The Mid-America Region Directors of USBA http://www.usba.net/bod2.asp

Why ain't USBA Mid-America Region Directors of USBA working with http://www.billiardeducation.org/index.php?option=com_frontpage&Itemid=1 as Paul Frankel has with ACS and Allen Hopkin's SBE at Valley Forge, PA

I once ask and post a list of College Universities with Carom Table and what the USBA were doing to ???

Bob,

There is no good reason that you and others can't spearhead a youth billiard program. Professor Qball is not a USBA board director and has been instrumental in promoting billiards in many ways.

I and others on the board would be happy to hear you volunteering to promote a youth billiard program. We will help in any way we can.

Give us your proposals (once you've sobered up) and hopefully a concerted effort can be made to bring programs to fruition.
 
I am sober, I am not attacking the USBA, but here is a proposal. The University of Houston has a carom table. I would gladly step up and organize a junior tournament in Houston. I wouldn't mind approaching a Vietnamese room owner about hosting such an event.

I run a Junior program at my school.

I am not sure how many Juniors would be willing to fly to Houston.

Zensteve... I still drunk.... and I'm not spearheading a youth billiard program... Just showing why ... I'm # 1 USBA NonMember..

I know Paul F. is not a USBA BOD , just used his website because he had info on BEF...

Just showing USBA is not really using what available to promote 3C... only want tournament for themselves...

Hint ... Billiardshot might be disappearing after May 2011.......

Thanks for you offering to promote caroms at the grassroots level mnorwood! Keep us in the loop and any help tutoring the rest of us on your junior program.
