Howdy, go these two up on ebay

Joe Porper

“Porper” inscribed on the butt this dates the cue as before 1995. The forearm has six Gaboon Ebony points with no veneers and an Ivory Fleur-de-lis at the bottom of each point. The butt is Gaboon Ebony with an intricate pattern of twenty-four Ivory inlays consisting of an Iv@y hourglass with an Ivory Fleur-de-lis above and one below, each pattern separated by an Ivory diamond and there is a single silver ring above the pattern and one below. There are a total of 30 Ivory inlays in this cue. The wrap is black leather. The finish on this cue is great, no nicks or scratches.

There are two shafts and the stainless steel joint is the unique concentric cone that Joe Porper invented and the joint collars are black with a silver ring. The butt weighs 15.3 oz, one shaft weighs 3.6 oz with a 13mm ferrule and the other shaft weighs 3.7 oz with a 13mm ferrule.

Also comes with set of stainless steel joint protectors.

Barringer
This is a nice Barringer cue with two shafts. One came with the cue the other is a matching predator from Seyberts.

As you can see it has some highly figured Birdseye Maple forearm and butt sleave with an Ambonya Burl handle.

A little extra length if you like that or you are a taller player.

If you are not familiar with Barringer cues check out his website. www.barringercues.com

Butt weight: 14.60 oz

Butt length: 29.5 inches

Reg shaft length: 29.5 inches

Reg shaft weight 3.75oz
Tip size: 13.00mm
Predator shaft length: 30 inches, 3.9 oz, 12.75mm
G10 epoxy pin

This cue has an Ivory butt cap and solid Ivory joint. The cue is in very good condition
with the exception of a small finish scratch on the butt cap that I tried to show in the photo.

Only a few hours to go and not even a 100.00 offer on the Porper. Guess I will put it back the case for another year ;)

As far as I know, this is not a Porper Tuxedo cue - at least not as I knew the line. They were all ebony and ivory (except they had a plastic buttcap) and were pretty fancy. They had ivory joints too. I sold about a dozen for Joe. The retail was up there but realistically they were selling for $1500 to $2000 on auctions. I hope this is not unwanted advice, but you probably need to adjust your sights to a different level on this cue.

Thankyou Chris, Ebony and Ivory as you say, the joint is stainless and the butt is a white plastic as you mentioned, the black and white was what I thought made a tuxedo cue. Does have a best offer option.

Thankyou again
