I am so excited....

Paul called me yesterday to say he is shipping my new cue this week. I have been waiting over a year (which is not bad).

It is an Afzelia burl. I will post some pictures when it arrives. I have not even seen a picture of it in progress. Paul and I talked about some concepts but I left the design and execution up to him exclusively. I can't wait to see it.

Ron,

You will be very pleased. I saw the cue on Monday while I was at Paul's and it's beautiful!
 
Here are 3 photos that Paul sent me.

The cue will be shipped to me on Monday. All inlays are ivory and the joint is ivory.

The cue has 2 shafts. One is an original Predator 314 customized by Paul to match the cue and with a Kamui Black Soft tip. The other is a regular PFD shaft.

That's a real beauty. Love the design, does not take away from the beauty of the wood yet keeps the cue from being too plain. good luck shooting with it!

Paul Drexler not only makes the fanciest cues,he knows how to tastefully make a relatively easy design take on a feature of class

I beleive you should be happy with this one

I ,too, am expecting a really nice cue this week or next from Paul

This cue is beyond anything I could have ever expected. It is just flat out gorgeous.

I am so happy with it and recommend Paul to anyone for the highest quality cues.

Notice the "thinness" of the ivory inlays and the "sharpness" of the points on them. Paul told me that this is the first he has ever done like that and invested $20k in a machine to be able to make this fine of an inlay. He said he is going to use this cue as the inspiration for a new series of cues.

This is the first of his chevron cues.

Hey Art,

I hope to be at SBE next year. I had to miss it this year to go to the South by Southwest Music Conference and Festival in Austin, TX.

I look forward to seeing you and all my AZ friends again at SBE.
