Hello,
My name is Dave , I am 43 years old. I own Dave's Cue Repair. As of the 21st of this month, I was diagnosed with Lung & Kidney cancer. I do not have insurance at my place of employment. We are looking for donations for an auction benefit on behalf to help pay for any medical or financial expenses...that will occur over the next 3 months. All donations can be mailed to " David Hedrick...430 Hwy 332 Apt.41 , Lake Jackson, TX. 77566. " There will be a notification about the benefit posted here on AZBILLIARDS after we arrive back home from Missouri, where my mother had heart surgery. We will be home Friday, April 29th. All donations are greatly appreciated. Thanks goes to Bassel Elshaar of " Custom Cue Lathes." He's donating a custom toolbox lathe II for the auction. Next week I will be in vegas for the 3-Cushion Nationals, I will raffle a cue for you there, plus 50% of all repairs will be coming your way too.
I will do what ever I can to repay you for all your kindness, help and support you have given me in the past 2 years.

Let's help dave

Dave, sorry to hear about your medical situation. My wife has lung cancer and
I have a some idea of what you are going thru. My, and my wife's prayers are with you and your family. God Bless. I had a cue in the Wanted for Sale section that I am going to donate for your raffle. I hope others will join in and help you out in your time of need. A pic of the cue is below and I will ship it to you tomorrow.

Thank you Bob for the cue. It's a very beautiful cue. Whoever gets this cue come the auction will appreciate it and put a lot of use into it. Our prayers as well go out to you and your wife. Once again thank you very much.
 
Hi Dave,
I am truly sorry to hear about your condition. Can you post your paypal address for those who might want to make a cash donation instead of sending in items for the auction? This might get you some more help. When my late wife was diagnosed with cancer someone posted up my paypal info on here and we got some donations even though we ourselves never asked for any. I would guess there are some on here who do not have items to donate, but might be able to send you a little cash through paypal. You truly have some beautiful grand children. Our prayers are with you.
Also on an additional note: Never pay full price bills on any medical services from this. If you want to talk about how to get your bills lowered sometime give me a call, as we had no insurance. We paid the bills and the hospitals settled for much less than the full bills. One even wrote off their whole $20,000 plus bill. If you don't have insurance or a lot of assets, knowing the right questions to ask helps a lot in getting bills reduced.

I would really encourage you to go to www.paypal.com and set up an account for this. It will help your auction online bidders and help make getting you some funds easier.
