FS: Carolina Custom - 4 Point 4 Veneer - $510 Shipped - Pristine!

Thank You!

Wow what a sweet looking cue, very clean and I love the Veneers. IMO a steal at $510.

I agree...but obviously that's a seller's opinion. $SOLD for a CC in this condition...I must be out of my mind!

IMHO Carolina cues are severely underrated.... I have owned 5 of these cues and everyone plays exceptionally well. Between the work that Trevor and the CC guys put into a cue and the price this is an excellent deal. CC makes their own blanks and darn good ones too. Just my 2 cents.

It seems that everyone who has owned one or still currently own one speak very highly of them. I have two Carolina Customs. I won't get rid of the other one...that's how much I like them...I just didn't "need" two.

Bump for an elegant beauty. Unfortunately, everyone keeps saying CC cues "are a lot of cue for the money", "getting better and better", etc. implying they're at the lower end of custom quality. These cues are a lot of cue for ANY money. Their veneer work, construction and finish are as good as anybody's now. Just look at those veneers! Mine hits as good as any cue I've ever owned, and is the only cue that could have ever retired my Schon after 15 years of play. By the way, I've seen that exact same color combo of veneers in Trevor's shop, and the photos don't come close to showing how much they pop in person.

Thanks for the words of encouragement. I just went to CC's website and this cue sells for $725 from them. This cue maybe has 10-20 racks on it (if that) and a brand new "milk dud" tip (thanks again pooldawg) and to use another phrase that gets thrown around alot "it shoots lights out"!

So anyone who has wanted a CC cue, here's a chance to pick one up for over $SOLD off the actual retail price...

Yes, the veneer work is VERY nice on this cue - and the color combo does "pop" (hate to just reiterate what you said - but it's the truth!).

if i hadn't bought a JOSEY ( still waiting for it ) i bought this one for sure .

You can always Cancel the Josey transaction...just kidding. Thanks for the kind words.

Are these stiff hitting cues comparable to any other cuemaker? U take trades?

I'm not really looking to trade, unless it's the "right" cue...with that being said, all you have to do is ask...PM me pics if you would like along with your offer.

As far as the hit...it's subjective...each person is going to have their own variation on whether it's "stiff". I think they are very solid hitting cues...not the most solid I've ever hit - but solid none-the-less...so again, it comes down to a subjective opinion and whether someone has the experience (and memory) to relate one cue to another.

I would buy this cue but I can't get past the pin size just not for me......good luck with your sale I really like the look of this cue.....

I used to have the same idea as you. I had a lot of 5/16x14 cues (Stainless Steel joints) and never thought the idea of a 3/8x10 wood to wood was very appealing. Switch forward a few years...now most of my cues (the customs) are 3/8x10 wood to wood. I like the way they hit.

I still like the 5/16x14 SS cues (Schons and a couple of Joss Cues I'm keeping), but I prefer those with my Tiger X Shaft.

I have hit with a few wood to wood cues and I did not mind them but, I just like my mottey shafts 5/16 x14 I play with. if something ever happened to my shafts I think I would have to stop playing pool.......lol

Pin size....My opinion!

I would buy this cue but I can't get past the pin size just not for me......good luck with your sale I really like the look of this cue.....

That is interesting..IMO the pin size on this cue is the significant factor in determining it's value..When it comes to playability, it's hard to beat the hit of a big pin and wood on wood..I have come to this conclusion over years of playing with every cue, pin, and joint combination imaginable..I know..opinions are like.... pool cues! Everyone on this site has one, right? This is a "Smokin" deal at so little money..(Just another opinion!) Good luck friend...
