Why are most of my U Stream commercials in Spanish?

That initial video commercial before action begins is usually in Spanish.

Is there a setting where I may have inadvertantly opted for this?

Actually, I don't mind it. I figure if I watch enough pool matches I will eventually have a 2nd language. :thumbup: :cool: :thumbup:

Mine are mostly in Spanish also. I am also getting a lot of "Just For Men" ads. I think they know something I don't know yet.

Like I will be trapped in Mexico with greying hair soon.

My idea to learn a second language is to learn it from multi-lingual instruction manuals and product labels :grin-square:
 
Just a guess, but could it be the stream was rerouted from Spain for whatever reason. I've seen it to.

Maybe the advertisers have decided to target spanish speeking viewers for their commercial dollars.

A natural progression, KC.
First the Spanish used the Gulf Stream..
The they used the Jet Stream...
Now they're using the U Stream.

Maybe you are just being told you don't have a frigging choice about illegal, undocumented aliens, so just get used to it!
 
I haven't noticed that on any of mine. I do think the way Ustream's adds work is through google which uses a cookie system tracking previous sites on the net you have visited, so if you are doing any spanish speach research or anything of the sort it might be catching it and giving you the adds via spanish in that manner. You could trying cleaning your temp files & cookies to see if it still does it. But then again that is just a thought or in the future we all may need to press F1 for english.

This is not it, I don't think I even by accident once visited a spanish site or did any looking into spanish language.
 
A Ustream ad? Psssh....Come to Phoenix, half our radio stations and 10-15 tv channels are all Spanish. :grin:

Note most of the cable channels are starting to be en Espanol tambien.


I think this will be temporary before we start learning Chinese.

This is an easy one, with a name like Kickin Chicken they think you work at a poultry slaughter house and kick chickens to death all day long. It is a well known fact that some of the largest poultry slaughter houses have been raided by the border patrol for hiring spanish speaking illegals.

Tyson is Big Chicken Producer, so the Kicking Chicken could be in Arkansas.
