Here's a rules question. The example below is merely to give you an idea of the kind of shot I'm talking about and I know it's not a dead scratch as pictured.
Anyway, I know the rule is the shooter must be responsible for clearing his pocket because if an object ball bounces out the shot doesn't count. Ok, but what if he has a shot that looks like a possible scratch and he doesn't clear the pocket. If the cue ball goes in and bounce out, does the scratch count? Is it his opponents responsibility to clear the balls for the CB? :scratchhead:
