That's Sooooo true. I know of many tournaments doing that Lewis.
Another situation that is fraught with perile is when the people running the tournaments start buying up the field in auctions. This practice will end bad, sooner or later, for someone.

i can only think of two who do this, Denis and Chris. They don't just go cray, but they add money and build the pots. i have never, doubted their tactics or integrity at all.
Many don't like calcuttas but in some instances, it is the very reason for having a tournament. Take White Diamonds, no calcutta, no tournament! It is just that simple.
It doesn't matter what a promoter does, someone is going to take exception to something and most just want to hear themselves talk!
