How do you hit and aim the cue ball to make this bank shot?

Its stupid, all you have to do is hit the shot with center ball real thin and hard and it cross banks into the side. Trying to remember a shot like this, that comes up once a decade, is a waste of your time and total BS. Spend your time and energy learning to shoot straight. Ignore these dumb video utube shots, they are everywhere.
 
Yes, on this shot, load up with left and hit the object ball as full as you can without double-kissing and it will want to come back as it did in the video.

This is not "stupid" at all, this sidespin can be used in varying degrees on bankshots to get you out of jams that can, and will come up more than once per decade.

Curly, are you related to any of the PocketPoints? It's uncanny how you both know everything there is to know about pool. ;)

Viable shot

Comes in real handy when the pocket is blocked. It is a gas to make and learn. Not a waste of time at all IMO.

The reality is that you are very likely PocketPoint who relishes his role here as a pot stirrer.

If you ever had a notion to play with something other than your keyboard, I'm pretty confident you'd find plenty of members here who would gladly lighten your wallet.

But this is all a moot point since you are just a keyboard jockey who is more adept at pushing people's buttons than pushing object balls into pockets. Get my Point?

Why do you defend this BS. Spend your time on simple cross banks that come up in every rack. Spend your time learning to make them 99% of the time. Do not spend you time even looking at some 20% trick shot that comes up once every 10 years. If you want to shoot trick shots, call Tom Rossman, he will sign you up and you can wack away at 100 shots that never come up in a money game.
 
I do this every once in awhile when I miss my bank :) Unintentionally of course. Actually, its funny how a lot of missed fluke shots are "amazing" shots when played intentionally.
 
Try and keep up, your losing count of the ah's here. Remember any one who tries to tell you anything new here, is an automatic ah, board rules.

Like calling me names, is going to cause me lack of sleep tonight, right. I could care less if the loser here, wants to hang on to their loser concepts, i frankly hope they do, then the pigeons are easier to pluck. What is in it for me, to wise up these chumps. All they do is attack me, and insult me.

I hesitate to enter this fray, but here goes. Tons of low left, whack it hard and as full as possible, and without old cloth, dirty balls, and high rails that one probably still won't grip that hard off the second rail. In this vid the angle off the second rail reminds me of the time I set a table up with no cloth on the rails. Crazy reverse grip on the rails. Maybe it's just that table, but that ball really backs up. That one is more commonly a three railer into the other side. So, how many Pocketpoints are there, by the way?

You guys who are saying left English are wrong. It's right English. And not a cut, close to full in the face from where he's shooting. You want it to hit about 1/2 to 3/4 diamond from the side pocket on your side of the table.
