So I was supposed to go shoot in the GSBT event today in Sanford NC....Fate said No.

As I was opening my truck door to put my cues in the back seat, I stepped on a copperhead, and that little ****er bit my ankle. This startled me. Causing me to drop my 4x8 case, which landed directly on the chalk pouch, crushing my precious Kamui Chalk into chunks.

Went to the hospital, and got a shot from a needle that looked as big around as a snooker cue, pain meds, and a very large bill.....

I'm alive, and will recover in a few day's time, but damnit I wanted to shoot pool today.

The docs said it was a good thing I was wearing long pants, cause the fangs didnt go very far into my skin.

Anyways Narcoticland calls me, and I will probally post some stupid shit over the next couple of days, but this time I have an excuse!
 
I am very sorry to hear about the loss of your Kamui chalk.

Oh, and I hope you are all right too. :smile:
 
The GSBT events (especially in Sanford) are always a good time. Hope you recover quickly.
 
Yeah, what did they say about the chalk? Could any of it be saved?

I'll bet if you rubbed some of that Kamui Chalk on the wound right after you were bitten, you'd have been cured. :thumbup:

:DI went by by your thread 3 or 4 times today before I decided to check it out. What a crappy day for you. I'm betting if you scrape up the chalk dust, you can sell "hits" of Kamui for $10 a pop.
