Guinness World Series Of Pool 2011

shane missed the 2 in 3rd game to go up 3-0.

down 8-3 now. ko getting out after every break, very impressive.

Shane's break let him down, but Ko played great. I agree that the match turned around on Shane missing that two ball when he needed to jump over the edge of a blocking ball, but he figured to make it.

On a positive note, Shane had a top 8 in the world's and a second in this tourney, I would say he's getting the hang of the international pool scene. It's great to see.

I know he wants a world championship pretty badly. Hopefully we'll get to see him achieve that in the near future.

I already got a feeling that this monster would win the tournament..

He play like a god when he match a moneygame VS Roberto Gomez a couple day ago.. Score was 16-5 or 16-6 i believe...Gomez very frustrate with Ko accurate and ball position...Never take easy with any position..play safety very good..Jump shot ability also top notch...I remember he hit the 4 with jump shot and have a great position to hit the 5...Damnnn..

I really sad that he take my friend (candra) out in the 16 th 8-2...he almost lost with Alun in 32 though hill-hill 8-7....damnnn..i wish he lost on that match...

By the way...great match..and congrate to Ko Pin Yi.....watch out for every taiwanese player...they are a beast...

I lost in the Japan Open to Ko Pin Yi. In a 10 ball race to 8 at 2-1, he ran a 3 pack on me, pushed out, ran out, and then ran a 2 pack to finish the set. lol

Ko Pin Yi is the same guy who at 17 or 18 ran a 10 pack in the finals when down something like 8:1 to win it 11:8. I am certain that I do not have the details right but it was on that order and a monster accomplishment. I believe it may have been against Dennis Orcullo as well.

Conrgats to Shane though to do so well on in these triple tough events. Especially since he had to fade the travel and the culture shock and the loss of luggage. Well done.

Just waking up to read this news. I am glad to see Shane in the finals. He's young and has a long career ahead of him. He may be disappointed, but, hey, coming in second place ain't too shabby in that field of champions. Shane will be back in the winner's circle again and again and again! ;)

i have a pinoy friiend named Victor arpileda...he is a good pro.. win some sea games gold medal. play preety solid..his son named Ken-Ken..17 years old and already got a good skill at pool..solid stroke and etc..i told my friend (a pro player in Indonesia) ippaenen..how good ken-ken can be in the future..he told me, wait until you meet Ko Pin Chun..he is a young brother from Ko pin Yi...14-15 years old and already got a skill like a pro..damnn..
