I sent Rick a PM explaining I bought them , to convert , all I did was take the pictures . Wish I had the talent to make something like this . I also Hope I have the talent to convert them without screwing them up . Thanks Jim
Sheldon, thanks, but these are not Schmelke products that I saw. They do make some nice blanks though.
Jim, what can I say? Those are very nice old cues. You can send 'em right over...they are taking up much to much room at your place.
The ones I saw were imported 1 piece bar cues; I first saw them in one of the pool mags a few years ago when they came out. They had one butt color and one maple veneer and nice sharp, even points.
I wish I could find the place I saw them; it was a gas stop off the I-5 freeway northbound through LA county. I saw the "Billiards" sign so of course I went in. No clue where in LA county it was though.

These things were in a new products section in one of the pool mags a few (2-4?) years ago. They are cheap import one-piece bar cues. I hit balls with one.
I wish I could find that pool room again but I just pass through that area and don't really know my way around LA county. Perhaps near Valencia??
