JEALOUS IM NOT SURE BUT IM SORRY YOU WHO ARE BITTER DONT GET SAME QUALITY OR LUCK WITH PICKING CUES OR THE PEOPLE WHO MAKE THEM. THATS ALL I CAN SAY

Again...no posse...I am so not that important. I could give a rat's a$$ who you know....I know people to....what's your point? Let's call a spade a spade, shall we? You are a cue flipper.....own it, instead of feigning being all butt-hurt by my comment....which was not out of line, and has been said to other people pretending NOT to be a cue flipper, by many members here in the past.

You still didn't answer my question, however.....kinda skirted around it. How many racks on this cue? Otherwise, you are misrepresenting this cue as new, when in fact it is used, and that's kinda dishonest, don't you think?

Here are my thoughts...

1) Lisa... if you're not the cue builder and you're not a cue buyer, then why do you care? 9BallKing is free to buy/sell/flip/whatever cues as he sees fit. Its not like he's Jeff Duke, claiming this cue is going to be by his side for the rest of his life... that he'll NEVER part with it, then selling it a week later. He said it was an amazing player. He came to that belief after playing with it. Now a few days later, he's selling it. How does this make him ANY different than a lot of the cue dealers/sellers/flippers here?? You gotta let go of these 'forum rules' you keep referring to. You refer to them like they're some kind of laws. Its a damn online forum! Even the mods have been known to overlook the 'rules' at times. Let it go.

2) 9BallKing... I don't know how to respond to most of your posts because they are too difficult to read (minimal punctuation; runon sentences, etc.) lol. But I will say this... you're crazy for selling this cue. Dave B + brazilian rosewood = awesome ringwork = don't let it go!!!

I resemble that remark!

This comment fits me perfectly, the problem I have is I have and use the best playing cue ever and I keep trying to find the next better one and always end up back with the old reliable Gilbert. Unfortunately I am too hard headed to stop buying new players. Luckily for me I like really nice cues but primarily plain ones so the damage I do to myself is generally under 2k and I almost always lose a little money on every cue I buy.

So as I have stated here before, I am a hopeless cue swapping whore who generally blows a few grand a year in cue resale losses.Take Care All

Ain't all that bad now. I think my wad is shot for the month!
Nick :)

I looked that said my new player fyi!!!!!

I said i hit with it why dont u look

Again, you have avoided actually answering the question I asked. A couple of few hits, or a rack, or multiple racks? It does make a difference, because it matters to those who may be considering purchasing....and there is a difference between disclosing a few hits, and disclosing multiple racks. In one case, the cue may well be considered, mint and test hit, While in the other, the cue may well be in immaculate condition, but used, none-the-less.

So, from your stated quoted above....you admit that is was your new player, and that would suggest multiple racks, which would make the cue used, in excellent condition. It's all about honesty in advertising.

What forum rules are you suggesting I am addressing? I am not. My issue is that he is attempting to sell the cue as new, test hit only....but right here, admits, more than once, that it was his player, which would lead most to surmise that while the cue may well be in excellent condition, it is in fact not new, but used. It's misrepresentation. You can put a lot of racks on a cue in 2 days.....I know I can.

Why do you care Lisa? I've read this whole thread, and the one over at Jimbo's, and not sure why you are so up in arms about this particular cue.

Its a beautiful cue, Dave's attention to detail is way above par, and there is very little doubt that anyone would be proud to own it. Doesn't really matter why the seller wants to sell it, when he wants to sell it, or how much he asks for it.

Lisa

Lisa I am not avoiding it I refuse to fing talk to someone like u stay off my nutz please:thumbup:

If you are keeping 1 cue and this is the best hitting cue ever, why would you sell it and keep the other? Strange indeed....

Hey Cubby.....I'm not the only one, even over at Jimbo's. It's because of the way he went about doing it. He could have just easily stated early on that the cue may be available for sale. Because makers let go those special cues because they think they are going to a good home, one where it will be appreciated and played with. If they knew that the cue might well be flipped, they may not be so willing to part with those special cues. Some makers take more interest in their cues and their owners...others, not so much.

Next....he lists the cue for sale as new and test hit only. But has stated here at least twice now, that it was his player...well, you can put a lot of racks on a cue in two days......which would not make the cue new. It would make the cue used, but in excellent condition. Big difference. With all the subterfuge going on as of late over in the Wanted/For Sale forum...people should be aware of the cue's true condition. Otherwise, it's a blatant misrepresentation.

Now, the potential buyer may not even care if the cue is new/test hit or used/excellent condition....but it IS up to the seller to provide the true and correct information upfront, so that there are no surprises.

Lisa ======> did say all of this over at Jimbo's.

Never strange I need the $$ and with what I have coming I know it will play better and they all you can cry more when that tops this mind your own

I've already had contact from Dave. Save it. See, I know people too...LoL!

I find your tactics questionable. I find you to be less than forthright. And how can you possibly know if the next cue is already gonna be a better player than Dave's cue, when you haven't even received it yet. Even the bestest of the best occasionally have a cue that isn't quite as good as the others. No one is 100%, 100% of the time. Sorry, I just gotta throw the BS flag.

And for someone who claims to not 'give two $hits'...you sure are pretty twisted with me.....LMAO!

your point he has a web page and he will tell ya i paid that and asked him if it was ok to sell so shut it up and go to bed no life

Actually, he contacted me. The conversation which I will not disclose. And I have more class than to ask a maker what he charged for a cue to another customer. Something that you apparently lack.
