Has SVB disclosed to anyone why he all of a sudden is wearing a glove?:

my understanding, from a thread here a couple of weeks ago, he started using one because of the high humidity where he was playing in a tournament....(i think nicaragua)....maybe he liked it enough after that to "stick" with it.

Maybe the Cuetec shaft (fiberglass coated I think) gets sticky...

svb uses the r360 which is a wood shaft, it doesn't have the fiberglass coating like the SST shafts

Neil...That's only part of the reason. The REAL reason is that SVB is being paid $300,000,000.00 to wear the glove...because, of course, why else would he (since REAL poolplayers would never wear one! )?

He saw other pros using them, so he figured it would help his game. He currently is saving up for some elbow pads too. He wants a complete game.
