I had one. I thought the hit was stiff (stiffer than my Schon). I used it for a couple of weeks as a bar beater and found that I really liked it as a break cue.
I gave it to my father to use...but he hasn't been using it, so next time I see him, I'm getting it back.
I thought the look and finish of the cue was pretty decent, considering the price. It was a really nice looking cue. Don't get me wrong about the hit...it was nice and solid...just a little too stiff for my liking. For a bar beater...I'd buy another one.

Maybe something as simple as putting that shaft on the end of your drill, getting out some sandpaper, and extending the taper 3 or so inches along with a slightly softer tip would make that sucker feel like an entirely different cue.
