This seller has no i trader feedback.

I made him an offer and now he's asking more that he has posted here for this case.

I'll paste his reply for all to see, he's offering the case here for $225 with him paying the shipping, but now asking me to pay $250

I'm done with this one, lol

I just got offered more. If you can pay $250 it's yours. Sorry, I just looked at some new messages that came in. I'd much rather get more than $200, since I paid $300 and it's basically brand new. Let me know if your interested.[/QUOTE]

I just signed up today so yes I'm new. I do believe this is a Tribute case. I'd just like to get what I'm asking on the case. There will be no issues with the transaction. I've sold some items on eBay and have never had any issues. Just thought I'd give this a try. It's a very nice case. Meant no offense by asking for better offer. Sorry if it may have been taken that way. Thanks for the inquiries.

Pending reply, may have been sold.

Gunner,
If your asking price was met you have a responsibility to sell the case for that. Its bad business here to do anything but. In the future you can always just leave it as a "make offer" ad.

You'll get fried otherwise... just some advice.

JV

I understand that. Not sure if asking price is reached yet though. Still waiting. I do enjoy looking on this site and the last thing I wanted to do was offend anyone. Rookie mistake on my part. Sorry again. I would like to sell this very nice case though.

JEFQ Case was deep as well COCO!

Think it is a JB CASES-Flowers, the stamping is DEEP!

The CLUE is at the bottom under the pocket is an oval stamp JB Cases.. It is a nice case made by someone other than Nora Van Horn.It seems the tooling isn't the only thing DEEP Coco your nose is DEEP as well.

WOW ringmaster it is really too bad you have turn this thread into a non information thread.

If you recall JBCases and his Jay Flower Tribute Case were knocked off, and a fellow in Asia was trying to sell/raffle the COUNTERFEIT Jay Flowers Tributes on AZB a while back. Matt Carter from Sterling Gaming Wholesale got involved as they are the US Distributor/Importer for the Jay Flowers Tributes.

John aka JBCases posted some photos of the Pool Cue Cases he made that were built as a Tribute to the Jay Flowers Cases, made under the Jay Flowers Name years ago.

Plus John aka JBCases posted some photos of the COUNTERFEITS made in Asia that were not produced by John's Shop.

BTW the Knock Off did had the Oval Stamp as well, but when you compared the the photos of the (2) Cue Case you could see a Marked Difference between the Two Cue Cases.

Stamp Tooling or Depth of the Stamp Tooling was a dead give away.

BTW $225.00 for this Case Delivered is a Very Good Deal IMHO.

I agree $225 is a good price, however if you had read the threads prior to this the gentleman decided he now wants $250 for this case.

I copied and pasted his pm here. Granted i offered $200 for it , then he said he had a higher offer and wanted $250 when his original post says $225

Yes, same question....original or knock off?

It's an original J. Flowers Tribute Case. Not an original J.EF Q Case by Jay Flowers and Nora Van Horn. (J.EF pronounced JF)

As far as I can tell it's not one of the counterfeit J.Flowers cases that was being sold by tasaddicts and supplied by Delta Sport to tasaddicts.

It's advertised as a J flower, not a tribute

There is only one brand of J Flowers case in existence.

The other brand, long gone, is J.EF Q Cases ("JF" Q Cases) commonly and mistakenly known as simply "Flowers" cases.

J.Flowers is the trademark for the brand I created as a tribute to the work done by Nora Van Horn and Jay Flowers. They are the ones who pioneered the tooled leather case that people now associate with Dennis Swift and Jack Justis. However there is some indication that there were other cases which actually predated Jay's creation of the case business, such as the Curtis Case which looked a lot like the cases Nora Van Horn started making in the early 80s. In any event the "J.Flowers" brand belongs to the Jiasen Case Company and Sterling Gaming and was created by me.

Again here is the link: www.jbcases.com/jflowers.html Be sure to go to Chris Tate's website at www.palmercollector.com for more information on the J.EF Q Cases and Nora Van Horn.

For the OP - The cases are indeed sold out everywhere. We have a new batch of more than 300 cases on the dock and ready to go but it will probably be another month before they sail. $225 is a great price and a fair price for this case. Good luck with your sale.
