2X4 J. Flowers Black Leather Case

Read SLOWER COCO

WOW ringmaster it is really too bad you have turn this thread into a non information thread.

If you recall JBCases and his Jay Flower Tribute Case were knocked off, and a fellow in Asia was trying to sell/raffle the COUNTERFEIT Jay Flowers Tributes on AZB a while back. Matt Carter from Sterling Gaming Wholesale got involved as they are the US Distributor/Importer for the Jay Flowers Tributes.

John aka JBCases posted some photos of the Pool Cue Cases he made that were built as a Tribute to the Jay Flowers Cases, made under the Jay Flowers Name years ago.

Plus John aka JBCases posted some photos of the COUNTERFEITS made in Asia that were not produced by John's Shop.

BTW the Knock Off did had the Oval Stamp as well, but when you compared the the photos of the (2) Cue Case you could see a Marked Difference between the Two Cue Cases.

Stamp Tooling or Depth of the Stamp Tooling was a dead give away.

BTW $225.00 for this Case Delivered is a Very Good Deal IMHO.

COCO, my post it is FACT the oval is not present on cases made by Nora Van Horn. The case is nice but not a JEFQ Case which Johns Tribute is of not Jay Flowers as you so state.

What I posted was, "Looks to me like a REAL JB... "<<<---JB as in John Barton.

&

"Think it is a JB CASES-Flowers, the stamping is DEEP!"

Guys please. You all are making this out to be way more than it is.

Just about everyone who is a long time and active member of this board KNOWS what the deal is. If they are asking questions designed to stir the pot or deliberately using the wrong brand or description then they know that they are doing it just be jerks about it.

There is no real reason for otherwise nice people to do this.

The Jay Flowers/Nora Van Horn story is WELL KNOWN to those people by now.

What this man offered was CORRECTLY labeled as what it is. His information is 100% correct in that these cases are sold out everywhere.

Let's just back off and try not to be complete assholes to each other. Especially not over some bits of old cowhide. Jay Flowers created a nice case by using Nora Van Horn to make them. He stopped in 1994 and the "Flowers" case brand J.EF Q Cases (common name Flowers) is long dead.

Why not simply celebrate the fact that someone is trying to preserve Jay and Nora's legacy by calling attention to their history? We have so many "brands" and models that "use" the names of people that have passed away and no one spends 1/100th of the time beating them up.

Omega/Balabushka/Willie Hoppe/Mosconi/Palmer just to name a few. Let it rest already. No one is trying to deceive anyone here and the long standing members have all been through the "case wars". Isn't is time for a little peace?

This is in New condition. Only used in one tournament, but has no marks, scratches or scuffs. You can buy these online for $300. I'll sell this one for $225 with no shipping added on if in the U.S. PM me if interested.

That's a great deal especially shipped. My buddy has one and I'm impressed with how heavy duty these workhorse cases are. This is a durable, well built case, easily as good as custom quality. If I just wanted a good looking, tough case at a reasonable price, this would be it.

Case is Sold at asking price pending payment.

I learned a little bit about these cases during this sale. The link posted earlier definitely confirmed that my case is not a knock-off. Thanks for the kind remarks on this deal by most. The buyer will be very happy with this case.
