Is it worth changing the pin in a cue? I purchased a sugartree shaft (because it will take a while before I save up the money to buy the whole cue) and I am dying to shoot with it.
I could have sworn one of my cues had a 3/8 10 but found that it was a radial thread. So I bought a new JD cue to see what the buzz is about and it stated it was a 3/8 10 pin. The sugar tree shaft won't screw on.
Is it worth having a local cue repair guy change out the pin to something similar to what eric uses?
