Well, like I said, Diamond didn't make the change on their own, I kind of pushed Diamond into the change, so I take the blame for that. The good thing though, is that when I get up to Washington State, if you want to hook up with me, I can upgrade your table to play just like the new Diamonds do...I just so happen to know how to do that:grin:
And...the change in the rails didn't take place until the US Open last year in Sept, 2010. So, at the time you bought your table, Diamond had no plans on changing the way their tables played, until May of 2010, after I rebuilt the GC1's at Malarkey's Pool hall in Tacoma, WA...and made it public, that's the first pool hall I worked in...in over 20 years.
And, for what it's worth, Diamond has some growing pains as well, trying to keep up with sales in areas that they've never been in before, and 2,500 miles a way is not just a hop, skip & jump from Diamond's backyard, so I do agree, service issues up in that area are lacking for use of a better word.
