Love my Pechauer Break Cue!

This is the most excited I've ever been about a break cue! I bought the 20.5 ounce cue and it feels really weird at first holding it because there is so much weight towards the front. It feels really nature when you break with it though.
Makes following through easier. It also helps with the controlling the cue ball. The Black Diamond Tip is a tad harder than the Samsara. Really nice tip!
I jumped with this cue for the first time tonight and it handled it as good as any full length jump cue I've ever used, probably even better. I'm not a great jumper and I had the cue up in the air and made the shot.
If you're on the fence with this cue, buy it. It will impress.

Pechauer has given us a new benchmark for Break Cues...

I really like the Pechauer I have & I focus a lot on the Break Shot. It is an important shot that has lots of residuals, good & bad.

Oddly enough, the pitch on the Pechauer website basically says you should not expect it to be any good for jumping, LOL.

Anyway, seeing as you now have a solid full length jump cue I might have to put a serious bid on you in the Swanee calcutta. :D
You're right, should win the Swanee hands down this year. Swanee usually in Feb? I'll make my annual donation to really good pool players. LOL.
Only did one jump with it so far and it was really easy. Time will tell thought. I've played with a ton of J/B and break cues and this is the best IMO.

I have tried to use this cue for jumping but have not had any luck.... I have only tried twice but came nowhere close.

Now that being said... I dont think I know how to jump a ball with a full length cue..

I tried the dart technique based on a youtube video I saw with my friends Pechauer Jump and that is the only time I have successfully jumped.

I love my Pechauer Break cue too.. very nice feel.

I jump better with a full length cue for some reason. You would think that because it's a heavy, front weighted cue it would be easy to jump. Especially with the hard tip. But, I guess it's the opposite?

I love my pechauer break as well. Mine is 19oz with a white diamond tip. The stiffness of the shaft also is a plus for me.

3 for 3 on jump shots now. Whole ball too. I'm not a good jumper so thats good for me.
I'm breaking better than I ever have with the Pechauer. That front weight makes all the difference!

I have the same cue as you (color and all) I haven't tried jumping with it yet, but I'll make a point to try tonight. I love the feel on the break and overall just happy with the cue. My wife bought it for me last Christmas and I couldn't have asked for a better gift. I'd consider myself a good jumper and I'll let you know how that works out.

It better be good. I just bought one based entirely on your recommendation.

Thanks

Kevin

Break from side rail at 60% and hit just below center. Made 3 balls on first break at that speed. If you go too low on the cb it doesn't break as well.
I think you'll dig it. The forward weight forces me to follow through a bit more than I normally do.
What weight and color?

Don't tell anybody but I plan to be the oldest guy on the planet who jumps, and your jumping report is what got me thinking. 1/2 the reason I don't jump is I don't want to fuss with a third cue.

I'm looking to buy my way from C to C+ baby

Thanks

Kevin

Nice, I saw that one.
I'm telling you Kevin, I suck at jumping and I'm 5 for 5 at getting the ball up in the air over a full ball. I didn't want a third cue either.
