Ball Cleaner Bag?

Years ago the rack boy had a cloth bag that he would put the balls in and shake it. The balls would come out nicely shined and clean. Does anyone have an idea what material those bags were made of. Everything I’ve tried worked great, but the seems tear. Thank you. Johnnyt

Johnny, if you'll remember way back when, the shake bag was used before electricity was invented, which gave way to the invention of motorized ball polishers, although...it may still be in service today in the Philippines:rotflmao1:

A man and woman married for the last 60 years, because they haven't had sex in the last 20 years, decided to give her husband Viagra one night. I made one out of a towel and out of pool table cloth. In Taiwan they use a towel and roll the balls up and swing them around and it works perfectly. I tried it that way and balls went everywhere.

So I made two of them by sewing up a seam and putting in a zipper. Still can't quite get the hang of it without rapping my knuckles.

You can double up the seams. Sew it once and fold it and sew it again. That should keep the bag from splitting at the seam. I haven't had to do that on my bags but I also use them infrequently.

There is a ball cleaning cup that comes with the cleaning kit.The kit is by Q-brite.Under 15 dollars with cleaning and polishing solution.

Can you use one of the cloth 'slings' like bowlers use to polish bowling balls?

I remember years ago guys using a cloth bag to clean their bowling balls with. Simply pulling the handles up and down.

Look for a microfiber bowling ball see saw bag. Amazon has some.
