This cue is "Off the Charts" with detail, loaded with Ivory, and as rare as they come.. Everything white is Ivory..! The cue has so much going on I will let the pictures do the selling here.. The ringwork is so cool it is amazing Bob pulled it off.. I haven't counted the number of inlays in this cue and I don't plan on it.. Just the ringwork alone has 240 inlays done in #5 dice. The cue is amazing in person.The wrap is as nice as I have ever seen and the leather is a perfect texture. It is truly a masterpiece.. Specs are:

Butt~ 15.8oz..Joint is Ivory..3/8-11 SW style pin
Shaft #1~ 3.9oz..12.85mm
Shaft #2~ 4.0oz..12.85mm

I agree special box cue

bump this to the top! Look at how precise all the venners are- Bob does stunning work. There's real love for cuemaking in this cue -it shows. I remember gus used red,blk and white a lot- Bob makes everything on his cues !! This is a player. mark

You are so right Mark.. The work in this cue is second to none IMO.. I have seen work as good but never better..

In the world of nice cues I only own two. And at my price point I could have got almost anything. The first nice cue I have is a Bill Schick, the second is a Shurtz. I can't find any reason why these Bob Owen cues aren't worth so much more than they currently command. My Owen is absolutely superb looking and plays as nice as the Schick. if it didn't I wouldn't own it.

Every once in a while you see a thread asking about the next big builder or investment potential. It's shocking to me that Owen's cues aren't commanding the insane prices that a few other builders have. He's been around a long time. His cues have stood the test of time in looks, quality of build, and playability. And for anyone looking at investment potential, the best a maker has to offer is always a safe bet. And WOW! I totally LOVE the looks of this cue. If it plays half as well as mine then I'm sure it's a steal at this price. You'll be hard pressed to get this much cue from another established maker for this price.

One of these days you might see this cue for $5,000.00 in the near future. Buy now or regret it later. Wish I had the extra cash on hand. Simply a fantastic representation of what this builder is capable of.
