I can't be of any assistance on finding Cortland Linen but if you don't mind me asking a question....what is it that makes Cortland so difficuult to find and why is it so expensive. Someone referred to it as "fishing line" and I don't know if that's true, If it was, isn't there still plenty of fishing line being made today, or maybe that was just an analagous reference the other party was using to describe it.
In any event, I have two cues from the 80's that have this wrap and the Cortland still feels smooth. I'd love to have it on every cue I own....but what makes it so expensive to begin with...scarcity?
Thanks for information anyone can provide and hopefully at the same time furnish you with some suggestions where to get some Cortland Linen.
