Every time Shane talks, I like him more and more.
He's the epitome of class and firepower.
He sure is. I like this guy a lot. I have mucho respect for the way he handles himself, his dedication in striving to be the best pool player on the planet, and for his ability on the table.
I love the fact that TAR has captured, what may turn out to be the best pool player to have ever played the game, Shane's game as he's grown into the player he is. We have on film (or 0's and 1's

) Shane's progress thru the years. Not just little short races either, long races that really expose a person's game for what it is.
Last nights podcast was a great one! I encourage all of you to check it out. Justin has it up now at

I think this was the most in depth interview with Shane that I've ever seen. The other one in the same class was when OMGWTF was sitting with Shane in the booth in the Oscar/Raj match and she got him talking. Justin did a great job of probing for longer answers to his questions. Too often a person gets asked a question, they give a quick answer and it's on to the next one. On some of the questions, Justin would ask Shane to expand further on what he meant. It was great that when Shane was talking about this "aiming method", lo and behold, there was a pool table right there for him to describe what he meant.
These podcasts are great. I will be helping Justin in the future with his podcasts, so with the additional help, we should be able to keep on top of the audio/mic issues, which will translate into a even better podcast for everyone. Having someone else tend to all that stuff, will free Justin up to running his show.
As a big time pool fan, I love these podcasts. I really don't care who is the guest, its just great to have some people that are players in the industry, sit around and chat about anything and everything. No scripts, just sit around and chat. We've been lucky to have Mark sitting in and sharing his knowledge and opinions about pool. He's a guy that is trying to make positive things happen in the pool world and he speaks honestly and doesn't give us the canned press release type of statements we see.
Thanks to Shane for being open and honest and thanks to Francisco for jumping in. I would love to hear him talk for awhile. Thanks to OB Cues for making this all happen.
Don't forget!! Tonight's the NIGHT!!!
