>>F/S One of the BEST CONDITION all Original Gus Szamboti cues<<

Guys, I hate to do this and I am not sure I want to lol, but I am going to sell my virtually UNCHALKED ALL ORIGINAL Gus Szamboti.......

The specs and pics are here............http://forums.azbilliards.com/showthread.php?t=201769

Please read carefully. If your a SERIOUS buyer and want better pics I have a new 14mp camera and would happy to take pics of whatever you want. The cue is in the same condition as listed in thread and the original shafts have never been chalked by the 2nd owner or me....Here is some excerpts from the previous owner and the original owner and Barry Szamboti...

"Gus Szamboti cue. Original owner, ordered 8/22/1978, points: ebony, white, chartreuse, natural, ebony into maple forearm; ebony butt sleeve with 4 maple windows, white/green speck Cortland wrap. 1 shaft used 50 times +/-; the other less than 10 times. Shafts: 13.5 mm with ivory ferrules; length 58.5 ins.; 20.1oz.; Fellini case

The cue is all original even the tips. The cue has never been refinished as Barry Szamboti (who brokered the deal between me and the original owner) stated it did not need one."

FROM ORIGINAL OWNER>>>"Hello,

I may have what you want in a Gus cue. I am the second owner and I purchased the cue from the original owner about 3-4 years back. The cue was sent to Barry for identification by the original owner as Barry still had the man's name in his father's book. At the time of receipt Barry had commented that this cue was one of the best original condition cues he had seen in quite some time. He buffed the cue and cleaned the wrap and I personally drove to Barry's home in Feasterville, Pa to pick up the cue.

If you are interested in photos let me know and I will take some and send them to you. Cue comes in the original Fellini case (in very good condition with the Fellini label clearly intact)."

The pics arent the best but its a start and there can be better ones taken....The cue also has a nice LOA being written by Dennis Searing that is PAID FOR and you can have if you can get a hold of him:thumbup:

Barry also authenticated the cue and stated it was one of the best all original Gus cue's he ever had in his hands.

As far as price, I would like to keep it private....I will say, for what you are getting its priced very competitively. Its more than in line. I want mostly CASH, but would take a TOPPPPPPPPPPP cuemaker's cue along with a majority of CASH to make it happen.

I am really torn on posting a price or not as I normally hate when its not done but I truly think that if your a serious buyer and you can afford this cue when you call me and ask you will be very surprised at what I am asking. SOLDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDDD

Please email, call, or text or pm any questions you may have. I am OK if this cue doesnt sell, but I might also try EBAY if I need to. I am only selling to maybe pay off a student loan or to buy more cues:D Haven't decided yet:thumbup:

Included is all three shafts and the Fellini case which is original and what GUS shipped the cue in.

Thanks

The cue is 58.5 inches so I had Dennis make the 3rd shaft at 29 so it would be 58" with his shaft so that's why its a little shorter..

I was the second owner of the cue Mark is speaking on and everything he has stated is true. The cue is all original and the Fellini case came with the cue according to the first owner. Barry brokered the deal for me with the original owner. Barry was amazed at the condition of the cue for its age.

Mark good luck with the sale...someone will be extremely happy.

Thanks Anthony, for the comments:thumbup: I am torn.....lots of pms asking for price, and a couple serious inquires.....I can't imagine this thing lasting long for the price I am offering it for, the fact it's as close to an unchalked Gus as you can get, it has the original fellini case, and the the way these are price on other websites and what they have sold for here I feel it's. No brained if your looking for a Gus.....but hey that's just me.......call me today if your interested.....!

Wow!! Don't know what else to say. A cue is only "original" 1 time...what a timepiece this cue is, and this one has remaind that way since 1978. I hope that you don't have too bad a case of seller's remorse if you do let this one go.....

You are correct Joe....getting real close by a few people.....I can't believe I am selling this but I am getting some real nice cash offers plus trade offers......shouldnt be here long:thumbup:

If you're not in need of the money don't ever sell this cue. This cue is the nuts. I highly advise you to reconsider. Best of luck.

Charles, I give you the "persistence" award  I love both cues, but there is something about waiting 12 years to order what you want that makes you feel attached....Please ebony on ebony all the rings and 3 veneers and it weighs 19.4ozs:eek::eek::eek::eek: Its unreal:D

Thanks for the comments and I am waiting on a few calls, and deals are awaiting hopefully!!
