Many of you know about www.mikesurber.com
Mike was one of the fine members of our micro-society of pool players and he was murdered. The murder suspect's photo is known and he has still not been identified. Video exists and can be seen on the website above.

Inside Pool Magazine will be doing an article on Mike Surber in the VERY NEAR FUTURE, maybe even as early as next month, (April Issue) with space being allowed. It is our hope that the article will shed additional light on this very frustrating and tragic murder case of one our own.

Hope you will join me in reading this article in the upcoming issue.

Eeerie video

I hope they bring him in. Very good stills of him in the first video. Not to meant in a joking manner, but his stance isn't too good. The framerate is low, so I don't know if he has any "tells" in his playing style. Maybe players from the area could see something that would help identify him.
 
My theory is the scumbag is a convict, that is back in jail on other charges.
He seems to be a very callous criminal, and it wouldn't surprise me if he was arrested, and they revoked his parole.
The investigators must not have a DNA sample, so the only hope is AMW...IMO
 
The guy could just not done anything wrong, know he is wanted as a SUSPECT, and has change his look, and lifestyle. How long did it take to CATCH the UNIBOMBER. A VERY LONG TIME, and a Family Member turned him in!

I posted the link to Mikes page on my Facebook page. Asked everyone to look at the page, and see if they know him. Hopefully, everyone will share the link, and someone will know him. It's been too long looking for this guy.

Thanks Joey for the update.

Like Jam says, exposure is the key. That video along with the still should be enough to get this guy.

I don't do facebook but maybe those who do could ask our people with large viewership on FB to add this link - people like Grady, Mika, Darren, Shane, Jennifer, Jeanette, etc. This, on the chance that he might be back in a pool hall.

Very frustrating just knowing that if AMW were to air this story it would almost certainly be solved in short order.

Mike Surber and his family and friends deserve justice.

So he still hasn't been ID'd by authorities? I'm surprised there were no prints lifted off anything in Mike's house or car and you would think this guy would already be in the system.

No he hasn't been identified yet. Maybe with Inside Pool Magazine's help the article with spotlight this case and help lead to the discovery of the murder suspect's identity.

Who knows with Inside Pool Magazine doing an article on the Mike Surber case, maybe America's Most Wanted will take notice and see fit to put it on the telly.

I hope that's not really true. Maybe they're just not saying.

great idea to keep this at the front of everyone's minds. I didn't know or even meet Mike, but from what i heard he was the nicest kindest guy you could meet, lets find this guy and get justice for Mike and his family so he can rest in peace..

Seems like the place to circulate the photos would be among bars rather than pool players. The video shows him on a bar table (couldn't tell if he could play but didn't look like it) and if he was a pool player, someone would have recognized him by now.

Maybe the people who get the magazine article can take it to their local bars and show it around.

Yeah, while the murder suspect knew his way around a pool room, he was not a regular at pool rooms. If he was, he didn't play a lot. His stance was that of a novice at best.
