Frank Paradcise Cue on eBay no reserve

This appears to be a great cue, that the seller claims is all original with two shafts. The wrap is Cortland #9 Irish Linen which looks great for the age of the cue. I am not an expert on Paradise cues, but I have never seen this model before.

I just thought I would bring this to the attention of the forum, I am certain this cue get some action. I am not the cues owner and I don't know this person.

I saw this cue as well, I have no idea of value here. Who would care to venture a guess?

If it is truly all original and never reworked or refinished it should bring a high four figure price..

I have seen refinished Diamond Kings by Paradise sell for $5000.
 
Finding a true "line" cue from Paradise is extremely difficult. I believe his brochure to be reference only. But I would call this cue closer to an "Aristocrat" model than any in his brochure.

I think this cue could go for 2500+. Looks line a fine example of a Paradise.

There is no doubt it is an original Paradise, in very good shape in this one photo. Frank did some of his Diamond King models with the rather plain pearlized window buttsleeve with the plexiglass window. Some of those had brown Titlist points, others had Bruton Spain points in the familiar black, orange, green, and white. Unfortunately the one photo doesn't give a good view of detail, including the points. It does appear though, that this is a good find.

Thanks Craig for posting. It does look a lot like the Arisocrat but the butt treatment seems a little different. This one sure would look good with my other ones. Thanks again Craig and I hope all is well over at the pool room. Take care Randy

Hello randy, I hope all is well. I am certainly not a Paradise expert but, this cue is different in many ways from any standard Paradise I wonder if it is one of a kind. The points are different, the butt is different, I just don't know what it is. The points could be Burton Spain's work, or they could have been made in the Paradise shopeither way they look pretty nice.

Either way, I agree it would certainly look great in your collection. The thing I like best about this cue is that it certainly appears completely original without ever being refinished.

I love the foil stamping. I think I am going to try something with leather tools and foil to see how it comes out. Might be something new to decorate cases with.
 
Well the bids are up to 20, and the price is at $1225,00.

Still three days left, I think this price will go a lot high.

I looked and thought that is a Paradise. One sweet mother of a Cue.
