I've been using this new tip called G2 from Japan for a while now and i'm mighty impressed! I have been using Kamui Black S for a while and have installed that on most of my cues, however a few months back i started to notice that they felt different on different cues even after prolong play and being compressed. Some played good while some were very average, i must've gotten some fakes or consistency is a problem..anyway i decided to change to a new tip and it just so happen that someone sent me some new G2 tips to try on.
It's a layered tip made in japan and came in S, M and H. I got the S and M samples, gave the M to a friend while i kept the S. Man..these tips play good...much better than the best kamui black i have. Takes chalk well and not overtly soft and has a good "bounce" to it. I checked with my friend who's a hardcore Moori M fan and he was so dam impressed with it. I hear Dennis Orcollo uses them, not sure if he is still using it.
I'm not sure if anyone else has tried it, if so i'd love to hear what you think of them. For those that has never seen one of these tips below are some pictures. Just bought 20 pieces of these good stuff!
Anyone interested can contact embassy147 on AZ or email him at kenny.lacity@gmail.com
