I bought this cue from Jeff. He did nothing wrong. Today at 12:08. I PMed
him. At 12:21 he replied. With some info on the cue and his phone #. I
called him at 12:25. We talked and I bought it. Before anyone posted on
his thread. So no need to be mad at him. I was the first buyer. He sold.

If he got a PM before you, too bad! Yeah it sucks cause this cue is awesome, but dont blame it on Jeff. Just the luck of getting on at the right time!
How would you be entitled to it? Just because you say you'll take something, doesn't mean the seller HAS to sell it to you. And he sold it to someone else, who responded to him before you even saw it.
And even if you posted you wanted it, and he could sell it locally to someone he knows 10 minutes after that, why couldn't he? Its his cue to sell to who he wants. This isn't ebay, where the auction came to end and you were high bidder.
theres a thing called first come first serve, which YOU'RE not FAMILIAR with...
theres also a thing called, maybe he didn't get back on to AZ to edit the post until then? he said he and gary talked on the phone, maybe they conversed for a while and he went on after the phone conversation to mark it sold. let it go.
Wow your clever. All he had to do is send me a pm that it was sold, not make a public announcement 45 minutes later. Maybe it is true and maybe not, no one will ever know. If I am disturbed it is the way it was handled. It's not the end of the world, it's only a cue stick. If I am wrong I apoligize. Larry

Or is it because I don't think that the first post in the thread is always the person who buys it? This is a internet selling site. If I can take a known, have the cash, and not have to worry about being scammed by someone with paypal charge backs, stolen credit cards, forged checks etc. I'm going to take the cash every time. If thats not ethical to you, so be it. Now if you and I knew each other, you said you wanted the item, and someone offered me more money for it and I said to bad...well that to me would be unethical.
Selling face to face, and avoiding the bs that comes with selling something on the internet is just plain smart if you ask me. And has nothing to do with ethics.
I was on the phone with Jeff on my lunch hour (Noon Est.) while he was responding to bushwackers pm so he was fist one to buy this cue. Jeff is straight up as they come on here. If you had responded first the cue would have been yours. So first come first serve.
