I think you have to intentionally save it in sent items or it is gone.

I think the checkbox is checked on by default, but it can be turned off.

When I say gone I mean not saved in sent items. It should still be sent.

Oh okay, i thought if i sent a message i would have something showing that it was sent..so i guess they did go thru...false alarm excuse the newbie:smile:

Thanks for the help, that was the answer i was looking for.

The default setting is that sent messages are not saved. They are sent, but not saved. To save them go to control panel and in the left column click on 'Settings & Options' then under 'Messaging & Notification' put a check next to 'Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default.'

Put a check in the box to the right of the message, then click the drop down box that says 'move to folder' and change it to 'delete', then click 'go'.
