We're not all created equal Some people teach better than others. Some people play better than others. I am only interested in noting the people who regularly teach pool and who also play at a very high level.
Again, my apologies if anyone's feelings have been hurt. It isn't and wasn't my intention.
Hi JoeyA, (its me, the thorn in your paw.)
My feelings were very hurt..Simply because you have found another method (albeit insidiously) to bring teacher's and 'aiming systems' together in a thinly veiled manner..
The bottom line is STILL what you said (in red) in YOUR post. You simply cannot make a silk purse, out of a sow's ear..I wonder how many instructor's just groan, when they see a new pupil, with zero hand/eye coordination. Do they tell him up front, or do they encourage him to spend more $$$, knowing he'll never be an APA 3..at best

Granted, there are some people who aspire to play at that level...But why ?
As I have said many times to you and John B... you can take all the lesson's you want, and learn all the ASSystems you can...Bottom line is, as you yourself finally admitted,
We are not all created equal.
PS..I take that to mean, you will NEVER progress to a 'top player' WITHOUT that magic ingredient called TALENT..
PPS..Citing your rigid criteria..Would it count, if a player/instructor, specialized in ONE POCKET only...And would not take on rank beginner's (to lazy)..

.(Please do not play the 'age' card on me)
