Don't let CO_Kid1 steal your money like he did mine!! Please READ!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Do you even read threads at all before you post, or do you just hammer out a tourette's reply after reading only the thread title?

Seriously those were the first 6 words he posted. How the hell did you miss that?

While CocoboloCowboy is know for writing before reading in totality (sorry Coco...it's true :o ), ummm you can make a PayPal payment with your Credit Card and a lot of people do...however, if it's sent as a "gift" I don't know that you can really dispute it...

By the way OP...this SUCKS! This guy's posts have seemed negative to start with and I hope you didn't get the shaft (no pun intended). Hindsight 20/20, but if I don't see enough of a person on AZ or if my gut tells me to (heck sometimes just cuz) I like to have a phone call to see what the person's really like...then I go from there...

You can pay through PayPal using your credit card, thus you can contest the charges with your credit card company. If you paid w/a PayPal Balance or through a bank account, you have to rely on PayPal's customer support which sux.

:mad:JAMS YOU BEAT ME TO IT!:mad:

I don't think you can send a gift payment via credit card. It has to be from an existing balance or bank.

I hope this gets taken care of.

No, you can. PayPal just makes the sender choose between paying the fees or passing them on to the recipient. I'm sure you can still dispute the charges with your credit card issuer, you would just have a little trouble doing it for "item not received" when you sent the money as a gift. And of course, having sent the money as a gift leaves a non-delivery dispute out of the question through PayPal's process.

PayPal is remarkably safe to use if you just follow their guidelines. Try to beat them out of their fees, you lose their protection, and really, how can you expect the service of their protection when you have gone around them in order to not pay for their service?

You don't have to call the guy. You don't have to know the guy. iTrader doesn't matter. You don't have to escrow. This is business, not gambling. Paypal him funded by a credit card and if the seller doesn't satisfy you your credit card company will.

Thanks

Kevin

Exactly.

All the needed info was in the first post. :)

Kevin, you are correct. I was being unclear in my post. There is no reason to send payment as a gift with a credit card as a fee will be assessed anyway. You might as well get the protection with purchasing an item.

I'm fairly new here, I'll be honest- I came here to sell some cues to pay medical bills- I have a 0 itrader, and it's frustrating to see someone ruin it for others- if this guy has time to log on, he has time to type a few words to reassure a buyer- if it's a busy weekend, say so- I just figured out that I had PM's because "pegasys" put a message on my post- promting me to find it(thanks for that). I make my phone and email available to any potential buyers- I would rather talk to you than type anyday. I hope it all works out for OP.

Police!

Got screwed on eBay once for about 1K. Found out what town he lived in. Called the police department there and they paid him a visit. He was living with his mommy. She was irate and made sure he made good on the payment. All thanks to a little visit by the men in blue.

FREE Advice if you made payment via your CREDIT CARD File a Dispute with the Facts of the Transaction, non receipt of what you paid for via your CC Company.

He paid as a gift so he has no recourse.

Alwys just pay the 3% charge so you can ensure delivery and have the chargeback as an option if things go badly. Get them to say in writing that you have a 3 day return if not as described I make sure it is on the Paypal invoice. If they will not do this, then it\\\'s escrow or no go.

Thanks guys for the advice, and yea I made a mistake paying that way...didn't even think about it. I just never really had a problem on here with anyone so I guess I just actually trusted people( my mistake), but I also paid it through my bank account on PayPal, so I can't even call a credit card company to try and help me.

When kickshotkid made the payment the "regular way" PayPal might have come up with this guys address...it might be worth seeing if you can get that from kickshotkid...this guy's in TX (at least that's what is location said I think)...there's enough AZ members in TX probably willing to "help"...

Just another thouhgt...

That's a good point, KSK may even get his real name.
CO_Kid1 needs to communicate and make this go away, there's always time to do the right thing.

crook

Sorry to hear about this problem on here. Such a shame. I googled Co_kid1 and a name came up for a twitter acount as George Wright. Hope this helps

Get his real name and address from paypal and post it here. Maybe someone can track him down, or find out where he plays! We're a community here and we are all behind you 100%.

BTW, don't just give him red, leave a "visitor message" on his profile page so others can know what he is up too. Red is never enough!
