Price of Diamond Pro Am

Tournament Used One

Just curious how much a diamond pro am cost ? New ? Average used price ?

you can get a tournament used one for $5,200 w/Light and balls I think at some of the big tournaments like the Joss NE 9-Ball Tours event at Turning Stone in Dec And August, the Super Billiards Expo and I'm sure there are others. Just thought of one the U.S. Open 9-Ball Championships in VA. in Oct. Hope this helps you.

Hey Glen, how much would the carom table be that you guys designed? Are they going to start making them for purchase?

The 9ft ProAm billiard table is going to run about $6,500 new only, but I'm open to trade-ins as well as multi table packages. They are a little more expensive because all the cutter heads on the moulder have to be changed because they're different than the ones used to make the pool rails, which takes about 8 hrs to make the change over, then 8 hrs back again. They also can't be ran on the CNC machine with the pool rails being made either, as they have to be ran on a different program as well, in fact...even the body panels have to be set up and ran on a different program as well.....so, you might say they're a BUMP in the road when it comes to Diamond's production runs:D Once I get back to the factory and get Ian his table up in Canada, I'll be back on the billiard table project again, then soon Diamond will take over the production of them and keep some in stock for sale. The changeable one pocket rails will be ready at the time the billiard tables are in production as well.

Matt, here was the pricing from the last US Open for the tournament's ProAms:

http://www.usopen9ballchampionships.com/diamond.php

Package w/light, balls, cloth, and Diamond rack - $5,200, table only $4,600. Don't know if any are left. I suppose you can use the existing cloth on the ProAm if they are stored with the cloth on. Don't know for sure if it can be re-installed (RKC?).

You might check with the SBE or maybe Diamond for the deal on those tables. Also, don't know if these pro events use the Diamondwood tables, but I'm just guessing no.

A new 7' Diamond Pro Am direct from the factory (not a tournament used table) costs $4,400 (although this should be confirmed directly with Diamond). That includes Super Aramith balls and the Diamond light. Of course, you may have tax, delivery and set-up on top of that. 50% down, 50% due at delivery, I believe. Well worth the $$$. Good luck with your search if you are in the market for new or used, box or big track...Diamond is the smart choice, IMHO.

Thanks

I am really just trying to get a price in my head to go by in case I do run across a deal. I have a GC3 that I had Mark Gregory do the extended rails on ,so I have an excellent practice table .I seem to like the diamond more and more every chance I get to play on one .I live in marietta and the closest place with diamond tables I can go practice on is Metro Sports Bar in Fayetteville .Glen I know you said you take trade ins but I would probably either keep this GC3 or sell it strait out to someone .I really appreciate the input from everyone ,right now I am just in the thinking about it stage .Many tvs to fix, offices to clean ,and a house to re-side and paint have to take priority first .

Couple of 9' diamonds at MBC in Marietta you can play on. Or are you looking for 7'?

I have no luck there

Every time I try to go there to play on a diamond it just don't happen. Also a friend of mine was told that was Shawn P.'s table and he could not play on it .I'm sorta a funny sort ,big on energy and peoples attitudes ,blame that on one of my ex girlfriends who was sorta a gypsy like soul. I tend to go where I feel welcome . It's not that far to Fayettville ,I got a good table here and Cues has a good atmosphere , I really like the older Kimsteel tables they have that came from Mr Cues .Just a better playing table than thos Olhausens .

I got mine in new condition at the Expo for I believe it was around $3400 with a new set of Super Aramith balls and Diamond rack.

Understand. I've never actually hit on them. Usually play on the Olhausens. Play occasionally on the Kim Steel's at Cues in Marietta. Do like those; corner pockets are a little more forgiving.

Good luck on the Diamond purchase. If I ever build my pool room at the house, there will be one in it!

I really want one of these tables badly.. I am in the process of finding one for a decent price. I just don't know much about how to get a table moved or resetup at home.. etc. (knew to owning a pool table and I just wanna do it right from the start and get myself a beautiful Diamond Pro-Am!)

I also have a basic door way entrance with 3 steps infront of it that they would have to move it up to get it into the room, would that be an issue?

Also I have no idea where to begin to find someone who would do this for me in my area. Should I just contact a local billiards place? would they transport it and set it up, even if i didn't purchase it from them?

Any information and help would be extremely welcomed. Thanks!
