If you can't take the pain don't play the game!!! It is not bad to say you do not wont to play someone, for whatever reason. Calling a person names should not make them play a person either. It is not worth it to play some people pool. If you have had words with a person why would you play them?
I do not like to play people that never shut up the whole set, nag nag, nag. About what they can do to you. Mean while they lose the match! Now what? He is more of an enemy now than he was before you spanked him! And they lie on you for no reason! Sure you cheated him! Right! I don't think so....

I am not mad at anyone. This thread is about me and a guy that is always loud mouthing me because I wont play him. He even offered me weight. We had words a while back and he started it. He told me to leave him alone. The owner on the pool hall heard the words and said I should leave him alone. I thought I was his friend. Until then. Now he wants to play me, get real!!! No way. And that is what prompted this thread.

PT,
He gets a lot of weight to play anyone. In one Pocket they give him 12/6 and even more than that sometimes. I tried to resolve it to no avail! Done! He played a One Pocket match up with Nip the other night and lost again. Double HemLock, do I need to prove anything to anyone? I do not think so!
I am still waiting on you to make up the new templates for the new Lock Society ID's!!! What is the hold up? He, He, He. send me a form with the info you think should be on it! Thanks. Now let's argue some....

Head Lock is a gooder.
I have Scottish blood and would like to be Loch Ness but I haven't been invited yet.

I guess there must be a secret ritual before you become part of the Lock Society.

Dont know all the details, but I would suggest next time you see him, walk over and say "hows it going", then get back to what you were doing. If he asks to play say "thanks, but no, I'm still working on my game, but maybe someday".....

In other words, be nice and be above it all.... :grin:

You are my friend. You have to have Lock or Load in your name. Like Lock Ness!! We do not care what kind of blood you have either. As long as you are a good pool player trying to get better. Let me know what you think of this Lock Name? Thanks.

I'm not in the Lock society, but if I was I would be known as "unlocked", because I cant lock down anyone :frown:

Without knowing you or details of your experience with this fella, I hesitate to comment. But I've also turned down easy money because I just didn't need the hassle of dealing with a jerk.
At the other end of the spectrum, I turned down a money game with a world champion because I considered him a rude and inconsiderate person. I'd love to play most any world champion for a few bucks just for the experience, but not this guy. I didn't even want to lose a quarter to someone who I saw tell a young girl (who asked for help with her game), "You're hopeless, next?"

I would not mind a world champ (at any sport) who has no patience for teaching beginners. But if he made the offer and said he was going to give pointers to anyone who stood in line, that sort of comment was way out of line.

Well Donny,
I always try to help people with their game any way I can. Unless they don't want help. I also try to get along with everybody if they let me. But when someone is a big mouth and think they know everything I leave them alone. By all means. Thanks for your post.
