Thats a pretty spiffy looking room ya got there Red. Wish I had the room to do that too. Like all the pictures and memorabilia on the walls too, makes it look like a real room.

Very nice room. I will post mine once the Artwork is hung.
How long did it take to set everything up including the decorations?

Work in progress always looking for pics need to print some from Bill porters DVD its got lots of cool ones ,

most who play here have there own and i build a few myself mite have a loner .
I wouldn't suggest house cues or anything. I have a couple racks of cues, Meuccis Furys and such for visitors plus near the head of the table I made a single cue rack for my breaker. But if that wasn't your style, the only other suggestion I have would have is somewhere to put a cue when you have to take a break or when more than one player is there, vs holding it between games. Did I mention I love that color? :)

Very nice, you are a lucky guy. As for cue storage, I bought a display case for some and use box cases for the rest. I like taking a stick out of a fur lined box.

The desk on the end by the door has some nice cue holders on it. They are difficult to see in the pics.

That room is ok if you like a super tight tough table and a guy who makes you all kinds of cues :)

Awesome looking room. I'm jealous of the space you have and your table.

Nice room.

What drove you towards 4.25" pockets?

I am used to playing 9-ball or 14.1 on Diamond's "pro cut" pockets, which I believe are 4.5" and only really enjoy a table tighter than that for one pocket games.

The reason I ask is that I hope to move to a place large enough to accommodate a pool table in the next year and would hesitate to go any tighter than the standard pro cut for fear of making the table too frustrating to enjoy anything but one pocket.

Maybe if I just intended to use the table for my own practice and the handful of people I know that could tolerate such a tight setup, it would be okay... Does anyone that plays at your place complain about the pockets being too tight to be any fun?

Nothing really drove me there .But i did want them a little tighter than the norm .Glen (RKC) copletly redid my table .Cut the rails off , put new fronts on there, Artimus rubber ,new cushin angle ,the works got done .I think this was the first Diamond complete redo he had done .So just kind of worked out that way .I was able to see the pocket before the cloth and i was good with it .
Im not a world beater but i can get out on it .Arizonia 8 speed new system 9 in the old one ,and a B player on the GSBT .Also a B player at Trumans Bank and 9 ball tourneys and i like this table this way .It has made me slow down and check things out and it has helped .Only have a few friends regular guys that come to play they know what there getting into when they come over . Alos had a few champions play on it to .

Mitch Ellerman put a few racks together on it .Brumack ran 15 banks on it .It plays right .BIG THANKS TO RKC ,for the jam up job .
