If you lose the first game put the money on the table and establish that its a money game not a game of chance....chance you'll get paid. If your opponent loses stop right there and wait for the money or quit when he reaches for the coin....At least that way you have limited the bleeding.

Setting up the rules before hand is the best and will always be the best!

Playing the same game with you best friend every Wednesday is one thing.
Every one else PAYS

How many of these have you been sickened by..:angry:

1) Did you move the coin?

2) Wasn't the coin on three...?

3) You broke first because the coin is odd. Thats if you marked me up last game??

4) Just keep it on the coin and then I'll go twenty blocks from here if I lose and get the money from an ATM if you have time to wait.

5) I'm gonna catchup with ya for the last game on the coin cuz I was air barreling ya....Sorry i just thought I would win the last one.

6) We can play on the coin and "if " I lose I'll catch up with you Wednesday when my Brothers in town because I have to come back this way.

7) This slot is open for the one that makes you cringe. If you think of one yourself maybe we can get one or two more ??:smile::smile:

After firing a 50.00 air barrel on the last set a guy said; "here's my cue, it's worth 100.00 at least. So you give me 50.00 and we'll be even.

I made my grandma post. Didn't know if she would kick off in the middle of the match. And its a ***** to collect a gambling debt from probate.

When gambling with a stranger years ago I liked to lose the first game and pay just to set the prescient and would refuse to take the money back. I always hated the conversation about paying every five games or when to pay, I like to pay every game. It also has another benefit. When you play sets or pay at say three or five games you have set limits that can end the game all together With sets the guy may just quit before committing to another set.

When you play by the game he may just keep playing, one more and one more, till he is broke. This is not theory, I have beaten players out of a lot of money I had seen play someone else and quit after one set. It gives them an easy out, the set is over and for the most part the game is over unless you both decide to play another. Playing by the game they have to decide on their own when to quit there is no predetermined end and once they do their money is gone. By the game they are far more likely to chase their money and accrue larger loses.
