Where is the infinite option?
There's not enough info in the question to answer. Based on how it's written, the answer is technically 2. I voted 3 because I'm not that extreme. 4 if you pivot to center ball as your final spot (because short CB/OB distances within a diamond require an additional visual).
Aim points is a misnomer. It's visual alignments.
Ok visual alignments. You gotta be so picky .lol![]()
This is cte/pro1 according to the dvd.
4 visual alignments
4 (outside) pivots and 3 (inside) pivots
4 physical alignments plus 3 more alignments added with the use of an (inside) pivot
I include one 1/8 adjustment in all of the above.

yea i do, 4 systematic visual alignments, that will actually turn into millions of individual visual alignments in reality because of the cb and ob placements on the table, get it? lol
A few different ways i guess on how people are going at the method.
Do any of you wonder why your having trouble ?
Is there a fault in the system or is it the user?
My opinion its both.
I think the system puts one on the line or so close to it one mite not be able to tell if he's on or off so when he missis he blames himself.
I love what these Guys teach and have nothing against any of it.
I'm very opened minded and will give anything a go if it can help my game.
I do pivot but not like its taught.
I also should have the right to speak my opinion.
I'd be interested in reading about your pivot method. I like learning new things.
Dave if i ever decide to share what i do you would be one of the first.
No way i would post it up on the forum. While there are some good people on here I just feel some just don,t deserve the right to be able to pocket balls better.
I want to thank you for not telling me I'm full of sh!t even if you think so.
What i will tell you is whats being taught there are gaps between the aim points.Them gaps have a purpose, and must be used.I think this is where all the trouble is coming from.
I would NEVER say you're full of shit. I think you're a solid player and I'm interested in your approach. I didn't invent anything I do-- every I do I learned from others.
Spidy,
I believe in your "hip pivot" as one of your techniques to more accurately move/rotate the cue to the prepivot bridge location or not.
I realize that for those that don't/can't find the contact point on the OB that sends it to the pocket/target that other methods of aiming can be employed that are more cogent for them like the various forms of pivoting.
