Snookers in Providence, RI

There are a lot of good shooters here at Snookers in Providence, RI. A few that jump out are Mike Dechaine, Tom "Shorty" D' Alfonso and Billy "the kid" Lanna

Depends on your definition of good...and where the poolroom is. A "good" player in one room, could be a banger in another.

Hello Scott,
Good is just that, good! Wherever it is. And I asked about your home pool hall, not just any pool hall! Johnny Archer is good in his pool hall and any other pool hall as well!!! Your home pool hall is only in one place and one pool hall! Or so I thought it was. Thanks for your input.

At the Cue Ball in Salem, Oregon there are several good player/shortstops.
Luke Thomas and Matt Horner come to mind...

When Family Billiards in San Francisco was my home room we had plenty!!!!

Amar Kang
Tony Chohan
Bryce Aliva
Billy Palmer
David Piona

Shite every end of the month tournaments on Mondays and Wednesday were paying up to $900 for first!!!! Front 5 tables all done by Ernesto Domiguez with 4 inch pockets!!! By far the toughest weekly tournament in the entire nation!! Im so glad I was part of that

Beat Luke the one time I played him.. ok, so it was 1 rack in BCA. I did get a 50 on his team, though! :D

Heres a few more.
Carlos S.
Randy B.
Tommy R.
Johnie L.

Beat Randy for the cheese last fall. An entire race to 4 8b at the coast. He dubbed me "grandmaster B" after telling him I went 2-n-out in the B's before beating him.

Think I'd put money on repeating those regularly? I don't think so.

I'll enjoy my record while I've got it, of course. I haven't played any of the others, that I know of. :o

I don't play out a hall much, but Liz Cole plays out of there. She's been doing pretty darn well, as Rackemsucker can attest to. Luke was also playing out of there the last season. Did he move up this way or something? I forget. We've got some other good players, too.

I play primarily in a small bar, so I'm the best player there. Hell, sometimes I'm the only person there other than the bartender! :D

Banks

I'm not friends with Baker or thomas..not sure if they live here in Salem or not..the others do..Matts lived in Albany the last I knew...he used to play with my brother in law years ago..I play far below these guys..but do hit a few with them once in awhile..never played with Randy tho.

Na I gotta disagree with you, I think the toughest weekly tournament was capones 10 ball on monday nights. It was 750 added 32 players $20 entry. There were 6-9 us open champions then a ton of great players
