I tried the search on Az google, and yahoo. I cant seem to get any player feedback on how these tips play, they seem legit but im also looking for opinions cuz the price is quite up there for something I havent heard anything about.

Heh i'm new here but I wouldn't trust anything made by Barioni considering how he is handling himself around here. Just get a moori they are proven to be amazing even if the pig leather is in short supply out in Japan.
 
Over 200 views no feed back.... WoW! that bad? Or is it just a well know kept secret of how nice they play :p, Regardless ill prolly end up trying one. I know each persons opinion varies but still I would have at least expected some words on them.

well in that case make sure you tell him not to deal with eric crisp, jim pierce, jim lee, bill stroud, thomas wayne, john barton and some more whose names escapes me right now.

all of them have gotten pretty bad attitudes on here when something negative is said about them. a few of them are even currently banned from this site for their comments towards posters on here.

just because they let their emotions get the best of them when some posters berate them does not mean their products are inferior to others in any way.

a few were rightly chastised , who the hell wants to send their personal cue for repairs or refinish and wait 2 years to get it back ?

what did barioni do ? he just posted an announcement stating he was no longer providing a certain service. he was ridiculed to hell and back for his prices and no one that was ridiculing him knows whether his products are any good or not.

Geeez I just wanna know what people thought of his tips if they have used them lol, I dnt know about any service discussions, thats not what im asking. Im just curious if any AZers have used any one of his tips and if there experience was good or bad thats all.

While I agree that his attitude is not indicative of the product itself, I also do not agree with financing businesses that are run that way. No matter what the product is I have seen vendors go down that route before in other industries and they never fair well.

There are plenty of options out there and as a semi-new business I would think he should be bending over backward to get a loyal customer base.

Its just my opinion so take it with a grain of salt. I have no idea how his equipment plays so I cannot comment on that.

There was no need to comment then, how he runs his business is irrelevant to me unless it effects his quality of tips end of story.

Well you are entitled to your opinion just like everyone else. As I have stated repeatedly, I refuse to do business with assholes something you obviously have no quams about.

That being said, I am not looking to cause an argument I am just stating my opinion about the business. If you feel the need to keep on arguing your point feel free but I really don't care all that much since you seem to missing my point.

Not arguing anything just sick of people answering to a thread with things that have nothing to do with the question in hand that all.
 
I got no Baroni tip never seen one so I cannot comment on that. I bet they play pretty good though. I think Baroni caught some flack and fired right back and found negative publicity from the AZ effect. None of those haters that I know of have ever hit with a Baroni cue much less one of his high end LD shafts. Typical forum hate speak.

I wish you luck Mr Baroni we will catch you one of these days as I do get around the pool scene now and again.

moori's glaze over and john's tips are worth the askin gprice. i like that he tests the leather hardness and matched it to the one i was replacnig on my shaft. you want a tip at a specific hardness and he'll check his stock and get you one that matches what you're looking for.

there are a few that post on here that are az untouchables. if you say anything that isn't what they'd approve of or if they decided you're no good they bad mouth you and their groopies join in. i think the beef was between barioni and one of az's untouchable cue makers. it got decided that barioni was a pos and everyone joined in and trashed the guy. his cues hit well and his tips are good. (i'm sticking with kamui but thats not a knock against his tips they're still good).
