can someone tell me how does mezz shafts compare to tiger shafts?i am using mezz hybrid pro shaft right now and wondering which tiger shafts could compare or close in terms if stiffness or which one is better

Using a Mezz WD 700 currently, sublime feel. I know Max Eberle is tryin' out out a tiger shaft. Check his you tube vids.

the tiger shafts are going to have noticeably more deflection than the hp2 or wd700, unless you go with the thinner x-pro at 11.75mm. i do like the hit of the tiger shafts though, both the ultra and ultra-ld. the mezz shafts also hit great though. the mezz shafts will be stiffer than the tigers.

The tiger shaft, I tried has a low deflection. Both are good imo.

To compare a shaft is very difficult.
Both manufacturers are doing a great job. I am usualy a great fan of regular shafts- And have had for example no problems with all the Tiger Products or Mezz Products i tried. The WD 700 is my favourite shaft bc of its feel.

I still have a prototype from Tiger X with a 11.75 mm shaft with overlength which TATE (Chris) sent me for testing (and kind of present-still so thxful for it). This shaft is brutally good. I like it *stiff*-and this shaft is very stiff and it s easy to create action with it.

My regular shafts are all VERY stiff with a modified taper and a very low deflection. But as i said-i had no problems with all Mezz and Tiger shafts. They re really very good.

but it doesn t matter what our personal opinion and expirience is- YOU have to test it on your own. And especially the HP2-Pro is a shaft, that has really a very own note/feel. So you better test yourself my friend.

lg from overseas.

i agree.it is interesting how Dennis liked the Tiger shaft.i know Alex pagulayan is using the mezz shaft(not sure if hp2 or wd700) and he like it a lot too. Both are top players in world who see something with those shafts and i would like find out what it is...only thing a guarantee,i won't become as good as they are if use either of the shaft:D
