Im using usps GLOBAL EXPRESS GUARANTEED from the states to my country..

the package is here, but it said clearance delay

anyone knows where can i pick her up? is she in the custom office? or FEDEX custom?

thanks..

Why would it be in FedEx customs if it was shipped USPS?

and of course

does the cue contain ivory and is the importation of ivory into your Country prohibited?

no.. i dont think ivory is the problem here, i just dont know where can i pick her up.. and about clearance delay, i think i just have to pay what is needed..

I've received packages from China via DHS and I have had that message appear a couple of times. I was told it was waiting to get through customs and would not available until it had cleared customs

Yes, the package is waiting to clear customs, if you have to pay duty on the package they will send you a notice with the item's location. If you already know the location you may be able to go there and attempt to take delivery before receiving the notice. Unfortunatly Customs trumps all delivery promises.

Yeah the clearance delay is a boilerplate message. It just means its in customs (and the shipper is not responsible for the delay).

thanks a lot buddy.. thats a relieved lol..

The first time I saw that message on tracking I was freaking because I thought it was a special message and the cue did contain ivory and I pictured the inspectors with my cue in their hands and evil looks on their faces.

I think its just the shippers way of saying "its clearing customs and we can't be held responsible for how long that takes".

I think

Next time use EMS for shipping:) it goes through customs like a hot knife through butter:p

I don't know what country you are in. Hopefully you are not in South America.

Some countries are better than others for shipping and receiving.

That's what I use, but I think what verwirre used was actually a step up from that service through USPS. I think for Global Guaranteed they partner with FedEx because FedEx has some supposedly expedited customs hook-up?

I never ever use parcel services(fedex, dhl, ups etc) for international shipments.. They have some kind of deal with the customs, everytime I used them I had to pay extreme custom charges, one time I ordered 2 memory cards from china, the value was 20$ then I had to pay 150$ customs charge! yes! im not kidding.. from that day I searched around for better ways to ship things then I found EMS and now I dont have to pay for customs anymore:p

Of course you are in a hurry. You want your thing!

Good luck with it.
