are you having trouble selling your cue?

he didnt call you a troll, so dont get all "butt hurt"....... read his post again, then think about it, then maybe read it again to make sure you fully understand it.

Good luck with the sale of your production cue...

This thread should not even be in this section of the Forums.

Also, nice custom cues aren't selling all that well, why would you expect a cue like yours to sell???

I have a cue that I haven't listed for sale, that I've had offers on. So the right cue is easy to move.

I do believe one of the reasons things are slow is the time of year... Everyone's spending what little money they can on vacations and the like...

I had six cues for sale a few weeks ago and sold 3. Mind you these were not expensive cues. Hardest 3 sales I ever made. The sales and buyers were great, it was getting there that was tough. People here are very paranoid it seems.

I have had so many tire kickers asking me 1000's of questions, just to say no thanks or not reply at all. Not sure what happened to common courtesy.

I had one guy tell me twice he would buy a few. Days go buy and finally he said he didn't have the funds.

If you are not a big boy, you should not be making offers on this forum. I mean we are only talking a few hundred bucks here...

guys i wasnt asking if my cue is priced right, i was asking if anyone else is having problems selling their cue.... and it seems that yes, other people are also having problems selling their cue, since Ive had about 4 people pm'ing me saying they feel the same way.

Apocalypse2012;3649164 Sometimes the truth hurts...I said good luck with your sale?[/QUOTE said:
Opinions are like assholes everyone has one, and here is mine concerning your opinion:kma::grin-devilish:

There is no need to be disrespectful to others, in fact it is easier to say nothing at all if you have nothing to add!!:grin-devilish:

Maybe I should follow my own advise:( however, on second thought :kma:

anyone else having trouble selling their cue on here? seems like nobody is buying right now, I have a schon ltd for sale at a really reasonable price and not any offers, seems kinda strange for me.....anyone else feeling the same way? or am I alone on this?

Some azers or their spouses are either presently or recently un-employed. The economy is somewhat stagnant and has been for over 3 years. Most Azers have several cues already and are being very selective about what they purchase. Some cues are turning over but not with a feverish pace.
Be patient and accept the best offer you can live with. GLWS

What's for sale in THIS thread?

There are generally two prices for pool cues. What the owner THINKS he can sell it for. Then there is the real price which is what someone is willing to pay.

I'll sell you my opinion. ;):D

It's definitely a buyer's market. I had a 4 point Jensen for sale for awhile for $350 and couldn't move it so I just decided to start playing with it again.

I also find that AZ is not the place to sell production cues. Good custom cues priced right still move relatively fast on here.

i had a schon ltd on here for sale for months it was like new only played a game are 2 with it i paid $900 for it and sold it for $350 :(

I agree with you 100%.No need for insults.Actually I've seen the Schon he's selling(which is not the one in his Avatar)and besides that one ding thats in the cue ,which looks worse in the pics, the cue is beautiful with a 150.00 dollar leather wrap on it to boot.

Man, the cue market is down right now. I mean it's very hard to sell something that is not a collectible or a shiny piece of ivory. The problem is not your cue the problem is money.
And also trolls...cause there are a lot around here...
I am in the same situation like you and there are more like us.

Chris (CMD), if nothing's for sale why are you posting? Why don't you mind your own business and let the mods decide if it is or not a WANTED/FOR SALE thread...Forum policemen are everywhere and there are a lot of respectable forums where they are considered trolls. Just my 2 cents...

Chris

I agree, perhaps CMD never got picked for the team when he was a kid. Has insulted me before as well!

It is a very tough market for sellers, but its a great market for collectors. Lately, I've noticed some AZ members attack other member's For Sale Threads.

How we conduct ourselves will go a long way in developing customers. I know I've made mental notes of people I will probably never buy from just based on how they conduct themselves.

As Dad use to tell me: adversity builds character. Sometimes it build strong character, other times, well....

Just a few thoughts

Steven
